Rasmus went 2-for-4 with a solo home run in Friday's 12-4 loss to the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
He continues to swing a hot bat, slashing .345/.345/.759 over his last nine games with three homers and 10 RBI. Rasmus has been used almost exclusively in a platoon role -- only six of his 83 at-bats so far have come against left-handed pitching -- but his current performance makes him a strong DFS option when he is in the lineup against a righty.

Rasmus is out of the lineup Monday against the Rangers, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Rays have been consistent with holding Rasmus out against left-handed pitching this season, so it doesn't come as a surprise that he'll be on the bench with southpaw Martin Perez starting for the Rangers. Rickie Weeks will effectively assume Rasmus' spot in the lineup Monday.

Rasmus went 1-for-2 with a solo homer Saturday against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Rasmus crushed his sixth homer of 2017 off Twins closer Brandon Kintzler in the ninth inning of a Rays loss. He's having an exception month of May, as he's slugging .582, but since he tends to often sit against left-handed pitchers, he's most valuable in fantasy leagues with daily lineups.

Rasmus is out of the lineup Saturday against the Twins, FOX Sports Sun's Alex Corddry reports.
EDGE Analysis
He will take his typical seat on the bench with lefty Adalberto Mejia on the hill for the Twins. Peter Bourjos will start in left field and hit ninth.

Rasmus is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
Rickie Weeks will draw in as the designated hitter Friday against the left-handed Hector Santiago. Rasmus was the star of Thursday's win over the Angels, driving in all four of Tampa Bay's runs. He may sit again Saturday with southpaw Adalberto Mejia taking the hill for the Twins.

Rasmus went 2-for-4 with a double and four RBI during Thursday's win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Rasmus is proving to be a nice addition to the Tampa Bay lineup since returning from a groin injury May 2, as he's now drove in 14 runs through 18 games. His fantasy ceiling is capped because of his struggles against southpaws, and the 30-year-old outfielder is notoriously streaky, but he can pile up counting stats in a hurry while locked in at the dish.

Rasmus went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 5-2 win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Rasmus' 388-foot shot to right in the seventh gave the Rays some breathing room by extending their lead to 4-2 at the time. It was the veteran outfielder's first long ball since May 16 after he'd launched four in his first 10 games of the season. Rasmus has had no trouble making hard contact when he's put wood on the ball, but strikeouts have particularly been a problem. After whiffing multiple times for the third straight game Wednesday, the 30-year-old's strikeout rate is a mammoth 41.8 percent.

Rasmus is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
With left-handed hurler CC Sabathia toeing the rubber for the Yankees, Rasmus will be relegated to the bench in favor of Peter Bourjos. Strikeouts continue to limit Rasmus's overall production at the plate this season, as his 36.4 percent strikeout rate is a career high. He is, however, walking at a very solid 10.9 percent rate.

Rasmus is out of the lineup Sunday against the Red Sox, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Red Sox are bringing a second left-handed pitcher (Drew Pomeranz) to the hill in as many days, so Rasmus will again be confined to the bench. With Rasmus sitting, Corey Dickerson will cover left field and bat second in the order.

Rasmus is out of the lineup Saturday against lefty Chris Sale, Marc Topkin of Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rasmus will almost always take a seat against left-handed starters, and this game is no different. Peter Bourjos will start in left field and hit ninth.
