Crawford went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI in a 2-1 win over the Giants on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Crawford is not the player he once was, but he is a nice bench option for the Dodgers to face right-handers. The most promising sign for Crawford is that he has three steals over his last five games and that alone should indicate that he is 100-percent healthy for the first time this season.

Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Carl Crawford is expected to be activated from the disabled list Monday after recovering from an oblique injury, according to ESPN.com. Crawford completed a rehab assignment with Triple-A Oklahoma City on Saturday, and he will join up with the big club in Atlanta on Monday. He has been sidelined since April because of the injury, but had a 1.012 OPS in his 10 rehab appearances. The Dodgers have been using Yasiel Puig, Joc Pederson and Andre Ethier in the outfield for most of this season, with the latter potentially losing playing time with Crawford's return. “I see times when both Carl and Andre play,” Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said Sunday. “We’ve got a chance to do some things and we’ll see where it goes. Carl’s been swinging the bat good and, obviously, ‘Dre’s been swinging the bat really good. The first two games here, I don’t think anybody has swung the bat better than Andre. He’s squared up everything he’s swung at.”

Crawford (oblique) will bat second in the order as the starting left fielder Saturday for Triple-A Oklahoma City, Eric Stephen of SB Nation reports. Manager Don Mattingly stated that the Dodgers want Crawford to log between 35 and 40 at-bats before coming off the disabled list. Crawford is currently sitting at 18 at-bats on his rehab assignment, so he'll need at least a few more games at Triple-A before rejoining the big league club.

Crawford (oblique) had his rehab game rained out for a second time in three days Thursday night, the Orange County Register reports. Crawford was hoping to return before the All-Star break, but the weather cancellations at Triple-A Oklahoma City may push the process back a few days. He's only played two games for Oklahoma City during his rehab assignment, going 4-for-7 with a double and a walk.

Crawford (oblique) hopes to be activated prior to the All-Star break, David Vassegh of 570 AM LA Sports reports. Crawford remains without an official timetable at this point, but manager Don Mattingly indicated otherwise. While his return date remains a bit unclear, it shouldn't extend much beyond the All-Star break if it lasts that long. However, the Dodgers' outfield remains crowded, so everyday action won't be guaranteed for the veteran even when he does rejoin the club.

Crawford (oblique) will not play a rehab game Thursday due to illness. It looks like just a minor setback for Crawford, and he'll likely miss only a game or two with the ailment.

Crawford (oblique) will start a rehab assignment at High-A Rancho Cuncamonga on Tuesday, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports. As anticipated, Crawford will begin his stint Tuesday with the hope that he'll be able to return sometime around the All-Star break. The Dodgers have not stated how many games he'll play at High-A, and it's unclear if he'll progress to another minor league level before returning to Los Angeles.
