Crawford prematurely exited Monday's game against the Giants in the third inning with tightness in his right side, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. The extent of Crawford's injury is still undetermined but further news on his availability should be released in due time. He was replaced in the lineup by Scott Van Slyke on Monday and Van Slyke or Alex Guerrero could see added playing time if Crawford's injury requires rest.

Crawford left Monday's game against the Giants in the third inning with an unspecified injury, Bill Shaikin of the Los Angeles Times reports. Crawford should be considered day-to-day until the Dodgers release further information on the matter. The 33-year-old was replaced by Scott Van Slyke on Monday and Van Slyke may benefit from more time in the lineup if Crawford is ultimately dealing with a significant injury.

Crawford is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Giants, Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times reports. With lefty Madison Bumgarner on the bump for San Francisco, manager Don Mattingly has all but rid his lineup of lefty-only bats (with the exception being Clayton Kershaw). Crawford, Adrian Gonzalez and Joc Pederson will all ride the pine. Scott Van Slyke will start in left field and bat fifth.

Crawford (illness) is back in the lineup Tuesday against the Giants, Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times reports. Crawford missed two games due to a stomach bug, but it seems he's back at full strength following Monday's team off day. The Dodgers' left fielder is 3-for-13 with one extra-base hit and one strikeout in his career against Tuesday's starter Tim Lineceum.

Crawford (illness) won't be in the lineup Sunday. A stomach bug will cost Crawford his second straight absence from the lineup. It's possible that Crawford could still be available off the bench Sunday, but Scott Van Slyke will step in to cover left field for him.

Crawford is out of the lineup Saturday due to illness, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports. Although Crawford will miss at least one start due to the illness, this comes as generally good news for owners, as his absence is unrelated to the ankle stiffness he battled earlier in the week. Andre Ethier will be afforded yet another start, this time in left field.

Crawford is out of the lineup Saturday against the Rockies. There hasn't been any indication that Crawford's absence is related to the ankle stiffness he battled earlier in the week, but something seems amiss considering a right-hander in Jordan Lyles is on the hill for Colorado. Perhaps manager Don Mattingly is just rewarding Andre Ethier for his strong recent play.

Crawford (ankle) is in the lineup hitting second Friday against the Rockies, SB Nation's Eric Stephen reports. He was dealing with a stiff ankle but was able to make a pinch-hit appearance Wednesday and after an off day Thursday he appears to be over the ankle issue and can be deployed accordingly.

Crawford is dealing with a stiff ankle, but was able to make a pinch-hit appearance in the seventh inning Wednesday, the Los Angeles Times' Dylan Hernandez reports. This makes sense, as it seemed strange that Crawford was replaced in the lineup Wednesday by Scott Van Slyke with a righty on the mound. The Dodgers have a day off Thursday, so hopefully Crawford will be able to rest up and get back in the lineup Friday against the Rockies.

Crawford is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Mariners. It's kind of a weird spot to sit Crawford against a righty, Taijuan Walker, considering the Dodgers are opting to give Scott Van Slyke, a noted lefty killer, the start in left. It's possible Crawford just needed a day off and Van Slyke was the only healthy option with Andre Ethier starting in right field with Yasiel Puig banged up. Make sure to check back on Crawford's status heading into Friday's game against the Rockies.
