Crawford (oblique) is 10 days away from returning to game action, according to manager Don Mattingly, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports. Crawford was transferred to the 60-day DL at the start of the month, and at this point it's tough to pinpoint when, exactly, he could be back with the Dodgers. Mattingly noted that Crawford will need "significant game action" before returning, so he'll likely remain out until after the All-Star break.

Crawford (oblique) has begun swinging a bat, Dylan Hernandez of the Los Angeles Times reports. Slowly but surely, Crawford is increasing his baseball activities as he sets his sights on a return shortly before the All-Star break. It doesn't sound like he's taking full batting practice or participating in any simulated games just yet, so at this point, a rehab assignment doesn't appear to be on the horizon.

Crawford (oblique) started running Tuesday, the Los Angeles Times' Dylan Hernandez reports. He seems to be recovering fairly slowly, and at any rate he will not be eligible to come off the 60-day DL until the end of June. Continue to monitor his status, but be aware that in his absence several strong challengers for playing time in left field with the Dodgers have emerged.

Crawford (oblique) was transferred to the 60-day disabled list Monday, MLB.com's Ken Gurnick reports. The roster move ensures that Crawford will miss at least the next four weeks while he continues to work his way back from a torn oblique. Crawford is still working on strengthening his core muscles, but has no timetable to resume baseball activities as of yet. During Crawford's absence, the Dodgers have been primarily employing a combination of Alex Guerrero and Scott Van Slyke in left field, an arrangement that has yielded respectable results thus far.

Crawford (oblique) has recently been working on core-strengthening exercises at the Dodgers' extended spring training in Arizona, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports. No baseball activities are scheduled as of yet for Crawford, so his return to the Dodgers is likely still at least a few more weeks away. He's been out since late April with the torn oblique muscle.

Crawford (oblique) is not close to returning, the Los Angeles Times reports. Crawford continues to rehab at the team's spring training complex, but manager Don Mattingly said the club has had to "back off certain things" with the outfielder. Apparently, he's still feeling some discomfort in his oblique during some exercises.

Crawford (oblique) has not yet resumed baseball activities, Eric Stephen of SB Nation reports. He's been working out at the Dodgers' spring training complex in Arizona. Crawford has been on the shelf since the end of April with a torn oblique, and it appears that he's still at least a few weeks away from returning to the Dodgers.

Crawford (oblique) was placed on the 15-day disabled list Tuesday. Crawford suffered a fairly serious tear of his oblique recently, so there's a good chance his absence lasts longer than the minimum 15 days. Fortunately for the Dodgers, outfield is one position the team is deep at, and they will look to Scott Van Slyke, Andre Ethier and the recently-recalled Kike Hernandez to fill in while Yasiel Puig nurses a hamstring injury of his own.

Crawford has been diagnosed with a torn oblique and is headed to the 15-day DL, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports. The Dodgers have yet to offer up an estimated timetable for Crawford's return, but the outfielder said it's a pretty bad tear, so an extended absence is likely in store. Crawford's trip to the disabled list marks his fifth DL stint in four years. Enrique Hernandez was recalled to bolster the team's outfield depth with Yasiel Puig (hamstring) also out.

Crawford (oblique) may require a stint on the disabled list, the Los Angeles Times reports. Crawford will be re-evaluated Tuesday, after exiting Monday's game against the Giants in the third inning due to tightness in his right side. Dodgers manager Don Mattingly said he thinks it's an oblique injury, adding that it could take about a month to heal. If Crawford misses an extended period of time, it will free up some at-bats for Alex Guerrero, Scott Van Slyke and Andre Ethier.
