Crawford (back) is expected to rejoin the Dodgers on Monday, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Crawford hasn't seen the field for the Dodgers since the third game of the season, as he was placed on the disabled list early on due to back stiffness. He has since been participating in rehab assignments, generating favorable enough results to warrant an activation in the near future. Crawford's return, even if it's on a limited basis, will represent a direct threat to the playing time of Trayce Thompson and Enrique Hernandez.

Crawford (back) will play a rehab game Sunday at High-A Rancho Cucamonga before rejoining the Dodgers on Monday, J.P. Hoornstra of Southern California News Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
Crawford is currently on rehab at Triple-A Oklahoma City, where he's expected to play out the next few days before transferring to Rancho Cucamonga to finish out the weekend. Barring any sort of setback, Crawford will be recalled Monday, a day later than originally expected, and will return to his platoon role in left field.

Crawford (back) is not in the starting lineup for the start of his rehab assignment due to travel issues, although he is active and available to play if need be.
EDGE Analysis
Despite not starting, it is promising to hear that Crawford is available for Wednesday's game at Triple-A. It appears that he's on schedule with his recovery process, so as long as everything goes as planned, he could be back with Los Angeles around April 24, the day that he is first eligible to come off the disabled list.

Crawford (back) ran the bases at full speed Saturday and remains on track to begin his rehab assignment in the coming days, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
As Gurnick notes, running the bases at full speed is generally the final step in a player's recovery process before setting out on a rehab assignment. Crawford was placed on the disabled list on April 9, so the earliest he'll be eligible to return will be Sunday, April 24. As reported earlier in the week, the Dodgers are targeting Wednesday as the starting date for Crawford's rehab assignment.

Crawford (back) will begin a rehab assignment Wednesday, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
Crawford is ready to resume playing after taking a few days off to give his injured back time to rest and recover. He is expected to join the Dodgers during their upcoming series against the Rockies, which begins April 22, so it looks like he should be able to come off the disabled list when first eligible April 24.

Crawford (back) has been placed on the DL, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Crawford had been dealing with stiffness in his lower back, and it's apparently something the team believes will require more than a day or two to heal. As such, he'll hit the DL, and the team has recalled Micah Johnson to take his place on the roster.

Crawford will miss Thursday's game to get some rest, Doug Padilla of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Crawford was expected to receive the strong majority of starts against right-handers, like the Giants' Thursday starter Jake Peavy, he will receive some rest from time to time. The 34-year-old will be replaced in the lineup by Scott Van Slyke or Trayce Thompson.

Crawford appears to be the prime beneficiary with the news that Andre Ethier (leg) would miss 10-to-14 weeks, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
Crawford would share time with Scott Van Slyke, with Van Slyke getting all the action versus southpaws, but potentially time versus right-handers as well. Trayce Thompson could also factor into the mix depending on how things go headed up to Opening Day.

Crawford will return to the lineup Thursday after sitting out Wednesday's Cactus League game due to a stiff back, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Crawford has been receiving regular rest throughout the spring, but even when he's been in the lineup, he's failed to produce at the plate. In 16 at-bats to date, he's tallied three hits (including a triple), three RBI, two runs scored, and three strikeouts versus no walks. Upon rejoining the lineup Thursday, he'll aim to improve a meager .188/.176/.313 slash line.

Crawford is slated to serve as the Dodgers' backup left fielder this season, Jon Morosi of Fox Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
This certainly comes as no surprise, as the 34-year-old Crawford's production has slowed in recent seasons. Though he had somewhat of a renaissance in 2014, he struggled last season, appearing in only 69 games for the Dodgers and hitting .265 with 10 steals and 16 RBI. He figures to see a similar workload in 2016 as the backup to Andre Ethier in what will be baseball's most expensive left field combo.
