Miller started in left field and went 0-for-4 in Friday's 8-3 loss to the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Miller was activated off the injured list Friday and resumed his role as a starter against right-handers. The White Sox are throwing righties Saturday and Sunday, so Miller could slot in at left field or third base.

Miller (hip) was activated off the injured list Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Miller wound up missing the minimum amount of time with right hip tightness. Prior to the injury, he'd hit .228/.270/.421 in 41 games, a lopsided line which was good for a roughly average 98 wRC+. He should return to a role in which he starts against righties at either third base or left field going forward.

Miller (hip) was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday, Kennedi Landry of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Miller was removed from Sunday's game against Oakland due to right hip tightness, and the issue is apparently significant enough to prompt a trip to the injured list. Eli White should see additional playing time in Miller's absence, while the Rangers selected Josh Smith's contract as part of a corresponding move.

Miller was removed from Sunday's game against the Athletics at the end of the fourth inning due to right hip tightness.
EDGE Analysis
Miller was productive to begin Sunday's matchup, as he went 2-for-2 with a home run and two RBI to help give the Rangers an early lead. The Rangers said that the 32-year-old's removal from the lineup was precautionary, and he'll be evaluated ahead of Monday's series opener against the Rays. If Miller misses any additional time, Eli White and Charlie Culberson would be candidates for increased at-bats.

Miller isn't starting Saturday's game against Oakland.
EDGE Analysis
Miller went 1-for-9 with two RBI, a run, a walk and five strikeouts over the last four games, and he'll be out of Saturday's lineup with left-hander Zach Logue on the mound for the Athletics. Eli White will start in left field and bat ninth.

Miller is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the A's.
EDGE Analysis
Miller has started against only one left-handed pitcher all season, and he'll unsurprisingly take a seat Friday with southpaw Cole Irvin on the mound for Oakland. Eli White will start in left field in his place.

Miller has started against just one left-handed pitcher this season, and he'll take a seat with southpaw Reid Detmers on the mound for the Angels on Wednesday. Eli White is starting in left field and batting ninth.

Miller is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
The Rangers are facing off against lefty Framber Valdez in the series opener, so the lefty-hitting Miller will head to the bench so Texas can get an extra right-handed bat in the lineup. Miller has made two of his last three starts as a designated hitter, but he may see his pathway to playing time at that spot become more blocked against right-handed pitching following the Rangers' activation of Mitch Garver (elbow) from the 10-day injured list Thursday. Though Garver opened the season as the Rangers' top catcher, he has yet to resume throwing since initially suffering the elbow injury earlier this month, so he'll be limited to a DH-only role in the short term. If Garver ends up clogging up the DH spot against right-handed pitching, the Rangers may have to send third baseman Andy Ibanez or outfielder Eli White to the bench more frequently if they want to keep a spot in the lineup open for Miller.

Miller went 2-for-5 with a solo home run in Wednesday's 6-5 extra-inning win over the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Miller launched his sixth homer of the season during the seventh inning to give Texas a lead that Matt Bush was unable to protect later in the game. His leadoff single to start the game for Texas snapped an 0-for-12 skid, as Miller continues to battle at the plate. He's batting just .213 (19-for-89) but has 18 RBI over 31 games, which ties him for second on the team.

Miller will hit the bench Tuesday against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Miller's streak of sitting against every lefty the Rangers faced this season ended Sunday, which he was in the lineup against opener Austin Davis. He'll sit here against southpaw Reid Detmers, with Charlie Culberson starting at the hot corner.
