Rodriguez was placed on the 15-day disabled list with a strained right hamstring.
EDGE Analysis
Rodriguez was removed from Tuesday's game after pulling up while running to first base and an MRI on Wednesday revealed a strain. It's unclear as to just how injured Rodriguez is, but it's enough to put him on the disabled list. He's hitting for a .194/.275/.444 slash line and finally seemed to be putting it together of late, hitting .353 over the past week with three home runs and six RBI. He's replaced by James Pazos, a relief pitcher, on the major league roster.

Rodriguez exited Tuesdays game with a right hamstring injury and will receive an MRI, Jared Diamond of the Wall Street Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
The MRI is scheduled for Wednesday morning, so a full diagnosis should come then. Any significan time missed would interrupt a strong stretch for him, as he's slugging 1.188 in his last five games.

Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with a home run, a double, four RBI and a pair of runs scored Sunday versus the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran got the best of David Price Sunday, going yard for the third time in four games. He has a .438 average, three homers, seven RBI and four runs scored over the last five games and is enjoying his finest stretch of the young season after an inauspicious start.

Rodriguez went 1-for-4 with a home run in Friday's loss to the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
The two games he sat out with an oblique injury may have served him well, as Rodriguez is 4-for-7 with a pair of homers and a double since returning to the lineup. He's still batting just .194 on the season, but he looks to be turning a corner as the first month of the season draws to a close.

Rodriguez went 3-for-3 with a double, a solo homer and a walk in Wednesday's 3-2 loss to Texas.
EDGE Analysis
His 100th career long ball in Arlington drew the game even, but ended up being the last run the Yanks scored in the game. A-Rod's been off to a slow start in 2016, but getting on base all four times up is a good way to pull the ol' numbers up in a hurry. That said, he's still only hitting .190 with a modest three homers, which provides some cause for concern when you keep in mind that he hit just .216 after the All-Star break last season.

Rodriguez (oblique) is back in the lineup Wednesday, serving as the designated hitter from the fifth spot in the order against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Rodriguez missed the first two games of the Yankees' series against the Rangers due to some oblique stiffness, but he was able to take swings Tuesday and he'll return to the order for Wednesday's contest. His return to the lineup will move Mark Teixeira back to first base Wednesday while Dustin Ackley will be bumped from the order entirely. Rodriguez and the Yankees will be squaring off against Rangers lefty Martin Perez.

Rodriguez (oblique) is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Rangers, Jared Diamond of the Wallstreet Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
He'll be held out of the lineup for the second straight day, but Rodriguez had earlier reported that he was feeling better, so he may be able to return without missing too much time. Mark Teixeira will get a day off from first base duties and take over the DH role in his stead Tuesday.

Rodriguez (oblique) is out of the lineup Monday against the Rangers, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Thankfully, Rodriguez avoided any major damage to his oblique, but he'll still take a seat Monday after being removed from Sunday's game due to the ailment. Carlos Beltran will act as the designated hitter in his place.

Rodriguez was removed from Sunday's contest against the Rays due to a stiff oblique, but an MRI on the region was returned negative, David Lennon of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
While Rodriguez will travel with the team for the Yankees' next series in Texas, his availability in the near term is in question. If he's unable to man DH on Monday, Carlos Beltran and Brian McCann are the ideal candidates to take over at the position.

Rodriguez exited Sunday's game with left oblique stiffness, Meredith Marakovits of YES Network reports. He will undergo an MRI on the issue.
EDGE Analysis
Rodriguez finished the day 1-for-2 wth a double and an RBI, with Dustin Ackley replacing him as the designated hitter for the remainder of the contest. Expect more information following his MRI, but if the tests reveal a strained oblique it could cost him extended time.
