Rodriguez is out of the lineup Sunday against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Rodriguez has taken back the DH role for the Yankees since returning from the DL on May 26, but he's yet to make much of an impact, going 14-for-61 (.230 average) with two homers and nine RBI. His absence from the lineup Sunday is probably due to rest more than anything else, but Rodriguez could begin to lose out on at-bats more regularly if he doesn't get hot in the near future.

Rodriguez went 1-for-4 with a two-run double Thursday against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
The three-time MVP has been roughing up opposing pitchers this month. He's hitting .342 with seven RBI through his first 38 at-bats in June. Rodriguez is striking out a ton, but in most formats that doesn't matter much. As long as he's producing when he does make contact, then the 40-year-old can be a productive member of any fantasy team.

Rodriguez went 2-for-4 with the team's lone RBI in Sunday's loss to the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
A-Rod came through with a two-out single in the third inning that looked like it might be just enough to deliver the win, but Aroldis Chapman blew his first save in pinstripes and the Yankee offense was unable to muster anything else. The 40-year-old's average is still a lowly .211, but he's hitting .381 with three RBI in the five-game span since being benched in consecutive contests.

Rodriguez is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
With an 0-for-14 career mark against Blue Jays starter J.A Happ, Rodriguez will get his second day off in a row Tuesday. Carlos Beltran will get to take over the DH spot against Happ while Rob Refsnyder draws the start in right field. Rodriguez figures to rejoin the lineup for Wednesday's series finale against righty Aaron Sanchez.

Rodriguez is not in the lineup for Monday's game against the Blue Jays, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rodriguez is 1-for-16 with nine strikeouts since returning to action last Thursday, so manager Joe Girardi decided to give him a day to clear his head. Carlos Beltran will serve as the Yankees' designated hitter Monday with Rodriguez out of the lineup.

Rodriguez went 0-for-5 with three strikeouts Saturday against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
A-Rod has struck out seven times in 13 at-bats since returning from injury, and his lone hit was a two-run homer in Friday's game. The veteran DH has hit a mere .222 in the last 10 games, and it's no secret the Yankees need him to produce a bit more at the plate.

Rodriguez was 1-for-4 with a two-run home run as the Yankees defeated Tampa Bay on Friday night.
EDGE Analysis
AROD just returned from the disabled list on Thursday, and was able to provide a little pop as his sixth inning home run broke a scoreless tie and propelled the Yankees to a win. While he has six homers and 14 RBI, he struggled earlier in the year as underscored by his .188 average, so perhaps the time off will help him get his bat started.

Rodriguez (hamstring) was activated from the DL and will hit fifth as the Yankees' DH on Thursday against the Blue Jays, the Wall Street Journal's Jared Diamond reports.
EDGE Analysis
His return was pushed back almost a week, as it took him a while to get comfortable running the bases, but the Yankees now have their regular DH back in the mix. With Mark Teixeira ailing, Rodriguez brings a much-needed power threat back to the middle of the order. He is unlikely to come close to last year's unforeseen production, but he's also unlikely to be as bad as he was before hitting the DL, as his .191 BABIP indicates.

Rodriguez (hamstring) is slated to play at least one more rehab game at Double-A Trenton beyond Tuesday, Brendan Kuty of The Star-Ledger reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rodriguez was initially expected to return to the Yankees on Tuesday, but the team instead sent him to Trenton for a brief rehab stint. Rodriguez with DH for the Thunder on Tuesday and will appear in at least one more game, likely Wednesday, before making his return to the major league club. It's also possible the Yankees could keep Rodriguez on rehab through Thursday, when Trenton finishes up a four-game homestand.

Rodriguez is slated to play in a rehab game at Double-A Trenton on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The Yankees had intimated over the weekend that Rodriguez would return to the big league lineup Tuesday, but it looks as though the team has instead opted to send the veteran on a rehab assignment. The stint figures to be brief, though, with Rodriguez likely returning to New York before the end of the week.
