Rosales offers a capable glove at multiple infield spots, but his .234/.276/.340 batting line over 155 plate appearances made him a virtual non-entity in the fantasy realm.

While Rosales has enjoyed the bulk of the starts at shortstop since Marcus Semien (wrist) hit the disabled list in mid April, his .225/.268/.333 batting line makes him better reserved for a utility role than an everyday gig. It wouldn't be surprising if the rebuilding Athletics eventually decided to give the younger, higher-upside Pinder a larger share of the starts.
