House (shoulder) was scheduled to throw long toss Sunday, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports. With House reporting that his arm has felt much better in recent days, he'll likely steadily increase his long-toss distance before stepping back onto a mound. The Indians are hoping the time off to address the shoulder issue will help House return to form once he's activated from the DL. He surrendered 19 earned runs and walked 12 batters over 13 innings before being shut down by the Tribe.

House (shoulder) has resumed throwing, Zach Meisel of the Northeast Ohio Media Group reports. House was placed on the disabled list a week ago with left shoulder inflammation, but appears to be making some positive progress. He struggled in his first four starts this season, but the shoulder issues could be partially to blame for that. He remains without a definite return date, but that should clear up as it nears.

House was placed on the 15-day disabled list Friday due to inflammation in his left shoulder, MLB.com's Jordan Bastian reports. House has been disastrous this season, with a 13.15 ERA, 2.54 WHIP and 7:12 K:BB ratio over his first four starts (13.0 innings). Outfielder Tyler Holt was recalled from Triple-A Columbus for the corresponding move, while Zach McAllister is the most likely candidate to replace House in the rotation, starting with Wednesday's game in Kansas City.

House fell to 0-4 after allowing five runs on four hits and three walks in three innings Thursday against Toronto. House has been absolutely unplayable for fantasy purposes this year, as he hasn't even remotely sniffed a good outing. When you come into a game with a 12.60 ERA and actually manage to raise it, you know something's seriously wrong. With a stunning 19 runs (all earned) allowed in just 13 innings with a 7:12 K:BB, House has been one of the worst pitchers in baseball.

House lasted just three innings on Saturday, giving up three runs on four hits and four walks, striking out three. Given how many baserunners he allowed, House should count himself lucky that the Tigers weren't able to do more damage off him. Incredibly enough, the outing actually dropped House's ERA to 12.60, and he may not be able to keep his rotation spot much longer if he continues to struggle.

House will start Saturday against the Tigers in place of Trevor Bauer (illness). The Indians had intended on effectively skipping House this time through the rotation after he struggled in his first two starts, but they will be forced to turn to him Saturday with Bauer under the weather. House was clobbered for six earned runs on six hits and three walks in just 1.1 innings against Detroit in his 2015 debut.

House will have his next start pushed back to Tuesday against the Royals, the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports. House has struggled with consistency in his first two starts and will get bumped back a few days as a result.

House allowed five runs on seven hits and a pair of walks in 5.2 innings Sunday. House has an ugly 14.14 ERA after two starts and hasn't handled the early-season fifth starter scheduling treatment well thus far. He'll look to get back on track in his next start.

House will have his start pushed back to Sunday against the Twins. He was originally scheduled to pitch Saturday, but Danny Salazar will be called up to pitch that day, giving House an extra day of rest before facing Minnesota in the series finale.

House allowed six run over just 1.1 innings in his season debut Saturday. Both House and Zach McAllister struggled in their first starts of the season after locking down rotation spots in the spring. Danny Salazar got off to a quick start at Triple-A and figures to push for a rotation spot shortly so House will need to out pitch McAllister going forward.
