Castro is on the bench for the afternoon portion of Monday's doubleheader against the Braves, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Castro is hitting just .189 in the month of August. He'll sit in favor of Yadiel Rivera for the day's first game.

Castro is out of the lineup Sunday against the Nationals, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Castro hasn't had an official day off since July 5, so he'll head to the bench for what at least appears to be a regular veteran maintenance day. Miguel Rojas will draw the start at second base in his stead.

Castro went 1-for-3 with a solo home run in Saturday's loss to the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Castro and J.T. Realmuto went back-to-back off Max Scherzer in the fourth inning, providing the only real bright spot for the Marlins in an 18-4 blowout. Coming into Saturday's game, Castro had recorded multiple hits in five straight games, and he's now batting .297 for the season. The counting totals continue to underwhelm, but Castro's track record of hitting for average should keep him locked into a starting spot in most leagues.

Castro went 4-for-4 with a run scored in Monday's extra-inning win over the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
He hit fifth in the lineup in this one, but no matter where manager Don Mattingly has been slotting Castro lately he's been raking, slashing .356/.391/.492 over his last 15 games. Despite all the hits, though, actual production can be hard to come by in a weak Marlins offense, and Castro's only got two homers, one steal, six RBI and 10 runs over his hot streak.

Castro went 2-for-3 with a solo home run and a walk in Wednesday's 2-1 loss to the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
The Miami offense was silent in this one, but Castro did his part. He supplied two of the club's three hits on the day and lead off the ninth inning with a solo shot to bring them within one. The 28-year-old has gone deep in consecutive contests and sports a .274/.323/.389 slash line, but RBI and run-scoring opportunities may be tough to come by going forward with his supporting cast.

Castro will hit leadoff and play second base Sunday against the Diamondbacks, Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Castro tops the order for the third straight game after busting out with a pair of doubles in Saturday's contest. Assuming he sticks as the leadoff man for the time being, Castro will likely notice a reduction in RBI chances, but should make up for it with an uptick in run-scoring opportunities with J.T. Realmuto and Justin Bour slotting directly behind him.

Castro accounted for all the Marlins' offense in Wednesday's loss to the Padres, going 1-for-4 with a two-run home run.
EDGE Analysis
It looked like his third-inning blast off Clayton Richard might hold up as the game-winner, until Brad Ziegler blew the save in the ninth. Castro only has three homers on the season, but his .287/.326/.392 slash line is within range of his usual output -- the 28-year-old has a .282/.320/.412 line for his career.

Castro is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Padres, Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Castro has started 23 straight games at the keystone, so he'll head to the bench for a breather while Yadiel Rivera picks up a start at second base. The 28-year-old Castro is hitting a solid .288/.327/.380 across 53 games this season.

Castro went 2-for-4 with a triple and a stolen base in Monday's loss to the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
It's his third multi-hit performance in the last six games, pushing Castro's slash line to .296/.337/.397 on the season. The 28-year-old still only has two homers on the year, a disappointment after he cranked 37 in his last two campaigns with the Yankees, but he's still supplying respectable fantasy value otherwise with 20 RBI and 26 runs through 47 games.

Castro went 2-for-4 with an RBI double in Friday's win over the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Castro came through with a run-scoring double -- his ninth of the year -- to knock starter Matt Wisler out of the game in the sixth. This was Castro's fifth multi-hit game of May, and his slash line now stands at .301/.344/.392. While the 28-year-old's power has not quite shown up this year, he does have 20 RBI and his 25 runs are good for fourth among all MLB second basemen.
