Victorino (calf) was placed on the 15-day disabled list Sunday, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports. After returning from a hamstring injury May 11, Victorino lasted just under two weeks before his calf began acting up. Victorino was beginning to play well of late, but with Rusney Castillo recently called up from Triple-A Pawtucket, the Red Sox likely won't miss a beat with him unavailable. In fact, it's quite possible that Victorino won't have a starting role waiting for him when he returns from his latest DL stint if Castillo performs as expected.

Victorino left Saturday's game in the third inning with left calf tightness, Scott Lauber of the Boston Herald reports. A left calf injury kept Victorino out of the lineup Thursday and Friday, and the outfielder didn't even make it three full innings in his return before aggravating the issue. Mookie Betts pinch hit for Victorino, who should be considered day-to-day ahead of Sunday's series finale against the Angels.

Victorino (calf) is in the lineup hitting second Saturday, ESPN Boston's Gordon Edes reports. The 34-year-old outfielder was dealing with general body soreness Friday, but he appears to be feeling better. The two hole in Boston's lineup is a prime spot to do some damage, so Victorino should be a consideration in daily leagues.

Victorino (calf) is out of the lineup Friday against the Angels, Gordon Edes of ESPN Boston reports. While Victorino is said be dealing with general body soreness, his left calf is the main problem area. He's merely day-to-day, but manager John Farrell suggested there will be a rotation between center field and right field moving forward with Victorino, Mookie Betts and the newly recalled Rusney Castillo all factoring in.

Victorino is dealing with "general soreness," Scott Lauber of the Boston Herald reports. Victorino was scratched from Thursday's lineup, though a specific reason beyond general soreness isn't available yet. It doesn't sound as though whatever is ailing him is too serious of an issue, so Victorino should be considered day-to-day for the time being.

Victorino was scratched from Thursday's lineup against the Rangers, Scott Lauber of the Boston Herald reports. Victorino was held out of the lineup Wednesday as well, though he appeared as a pinch hitter and went 2-for-2. No reason was given for the lineup change, though some sort of update will likely become available lately on. Daniel Nava will draw the start in right field instead.

Victorino is not in the lineup Wednesday, the Boston Herald's Scott Lauber reports. He should not be considered an everyday player at this point, as he typically gets a few games off per week in right field. With Rusney Castillo nearing a call-up, Victorino's playing time will only continue to trend down. Daniel Nava gets the start in right field Wednesday.

Victorino is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Rangers, Tim Britton of the Providence Journal reports. Victorino has actually been hitting better lately as he's collected six hits in his last four games to raise his season average to .212, but he'll be held out of the lineup for the second time in three games and the third time in six. Daniel Nava will get another start in right field in his stead.

Victorino is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Mariners, according to Scott Lauber of the Boston Herald. Victorino went 4-for-7 over his last two games, but he is still being eased back into action after recovering from a hamstring injury, and will be held out Saturday. Brock Holt will get the start in right field in Victorino's place.

Victorino went 2-for-4 with a run scored and a stolen bag in the 2-1 loss to Seattle Friday. This is only his third RBI and third stolen bag of the year after returning from injury just four days ago. Victorino only has 10 hits in 49 at-bats this season, but has a solid on-base percentage walking seven times to give him a .328 OBP.
