Feldman (5-5) allowed four runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out six over five innings during Tuesday's 6-2 loss to the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Feldman wasn't able to replicate the success he experienced his previous time out against the Cardinals (7 IP, 0 ER), as the Padres reached base early and often Tuesday. The veteran righty dug himself into a hole early, allowing the first four batters of the game to reach base safely en route to an early 2-0 deficit. Though he was able to mostly limit the scoring over the following four innings, the damage had been done as his pitching counterpart Clayton Richard did not allow a run until late in the ninth inning when the game was already out of reach for the Reds. Feldman will look to improve upon his performance as he faces off against the Rays on Monday.

Feldman (5-4) pitched seven scoreless innings with just four hits allowed during Thursday's win over St. Louis. He struck out four batters.
EDGE Analysis
After allowing nine runs over 9.1 total innings to the Phillies and Braves through his past two starts, Feldman rebounded nicely Thursday. He's held opponents to two runs or fewer in seven of his 13 starts but still owns a lackluster 4.09 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 6.9 K/9 for the campaign. While the game-to-game inconsistency makes Feldman a difficult hurler to peg, there clearly is upside. A road date with the Padres is up next for the veteran righty.

Feldman allowed five runs -- four earned -- on seven hits and three walks while striking out just a single batter over 4.1 innings during Saturday's loss to Atlanta. He didn't factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
It's been a hit-or-miss season for Feldman, as despite holding opponents to two runs or fewer in half of his 12 starts, he still sports an underwhelming 4.52 ERA and 1.37 WHIP. His 7.1 K/9 and 4.57 FIP aren't encouraging numbers, either. Additionally, considering he's allowed nine runs over 9.1 total innings to the Phillies and Braves through his past two starts, being selective with his matchups might not be a viable approach, either. Feldman lines up to face the Cardinals at home in his next start.

Feldman (4-4) allowed four runs on eight hits (one home run) while walking none and striking out four over five innings in Sunday's 8-4 win over the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Feldman wasn't anything special in this one, and he was bailed out by Cincy's offense as they smacked five long balls to support him. The 34-year-old veteran has a very mediocre 7.5 K/9 and has surrendered seven home runs in his 11 starts. He's more of a matchup-based streaming option in deep mixed and NL-only leagues, and he has an intriguing matchup with Atlanta his next time on the bump.

Feldman (3-4) allowed just a single run on four hits and two walks while striking out a season-high nine batters through six innings during Monday's win over Cleveland.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran has been hit or miss this season, as he's allowed 16 earned runs through 11.2 innings over just three starts but only nine runs in his other seven outings. As a result, his 3.99 ERA and 1.28 WHIP are a little misleading. Feldman has pitched reasonably well and is providing serviceable numbers for deeper settings. He projects to face the Phillies at Citizens Bank Park in his next start this weekend.

Feldman (2-4) gave up seven runs (five earned) on five hits and three walks over 2.2 innings in Wednesday's 7-5 loss to the Cubs. He struck out four and also hit a batter.
EDGE Analysis
After a 1-2-3 first inning, the Cubs wore the 34-year-old righty out playing station to station ball, as only one of their hits (a Ben Zobrist double) went for extra bases. Feldman's success this season has depended on his control. In starts where he walked one batter or none, he has a 0.93 ERA; in starts where he walked two or more, an 8.86 ERA. He'll try to get back on track Monday at home against Cleveland.

Feldman held the Giants to two runs over seven innings in Friday's extra-inning loss, giving up seven hits (one homer) and a walk, striking out two.
EDGE Analysis
The two strikeouts illustrate the problem with Feldman - he has only 34 strikeouts in 47.2 innings. So while his 3.59 ERA and 1.22 WHIP are good enough ratios, he hurts you vis-a-vis other starters in strikeouts.

Feldman (2-3) tossed a four-hit complete-game shutout while allowing one walk and striking out five in Sunday's 4-0 win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
He retired the side in order to close out the ninth for his third career shutout and first since he was a member of the Astros in 2014. Coming into the game, he was 1-5 in six career starts against San Francisco. The dazzling 119-pitch effort Sunday was a good sign after Feldman gave up a whopping seven runs and six hits over four innings his last time out. The 34-year-old veteran has pitched above expectations so far this year, and while his strikeouts may be up, his 3.5 BB/9 and 4.26 xFIP should remind owners that he can be prone to blowup outings along the way.

Feldman (1-3) was crushed for seven runs on six hits and a pair of walks in Tuesday's loss to Pittsburgh.
EDGE Analysis
This was the worst outing he's had all year, as Feldman came into Tuesday's action with surprisingly solid stats boosted by an increase in strikeout rate. However, his walk rate's also spiked and it's hard to see him sustaining his 7.7 K/9, so there's little reason for fantasy owners to invest in most formats.

Feldman (1-2) gave up four runs on five hits and five walks over five innings in Tuesday's 9-1 loss to the Brewers. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
It's the second time in three starts Feldman has walked five batters, an uncharacteristic bout of wildness for a pitcher who's posted a BB/9 of 2.5 or less in each of the last three seasons. The 34-year-old will try to get back on track in his next trip to the mound Monday at home against the Pirates.
