Philip Humber left the White Sox on Tuesday morning to be with his wife as she gives birth. Humber is expected to return before his scheduled Thursday start against the Red Sox. The 29-year-old right-hander hurled the 21st perfect game in major league history on Saturday afternoon vs. the Mariners.

He improves to 1-0 on the season and owns a miniscule 0.63 ERA. Humber will likely attract a lot of attention when he takes on the Red Sox on Wednesday next week.
