Aoki is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Rangers, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Astros will clear room in the lineup for defensive maven Jake Marisnick as well as fresh call-up Derek Fisher, relegating Aoki to the bench for the series finale. While Fisher remains in the big leagues, he's expected to see most of his reps in right field with Josh Reddick (concussion) on the disabled list, so for the time being, Aoki is still be expected to make the bulk of the starts in left field.

Aoki went 3-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run during Sunday's loss to the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
The outfielder is hardly taking advantage of his semi-regular at-bats and sports a career-low .641 OPS with just 11 RBI and 13 runs through 148 plate appearances. He appears to have carved out a role, but considering the Astros are the highest-scoring team in the majors, his numbers are all the more discouraging. He's probably best left to cavernous settings at this stage of the game.

Aoki is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Royals, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
With southpaw Jason Vargas on the mound for the Royals, Astros manager A.J. Hinch will play to the matchup by giving Aoki a day off while the right-handed-hitting Jake Marisnick checks into the lineup. Even as a semi-regular starter in a potent Astros offense, Aoki has failed to provide much of an impact in the fantasy realm, hitting .258 with only nine RBI and 11 runs more than a third of the way through the season.

Aoki is out of the lineup Sunday against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
The Astros will go with an all-right-handed or switch-hitting lineup Sunday to counter southpaw Martin Perez, leaving no room in the starting nine for Aoki, Josh Reddick and Brian McCann. Aoki actually owns comparable career batting lines against both right- and left-handed pitching, but the Astros' wealth of bats will enable manager A.J. Hinch to mix and match his lineups as he pleases.

Aoki is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Twins, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Aoki has finally showed signs of life at the plate this past week by collecting four hits in his past four games, but he'll head to the bench for a night off. Marwin Gonzalez will take over in left field field to replace him.

Aoki is not in the lineup Tuesday against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
This marks the second consecutive game that Aoki will watch from the dugout. The veteran outfielder has struggled over the past few weeks, so he'll give way to Jake Marisnick to fill out the outfield with Josh Reddick and George Springer on Tuesday.

Aoki is not in the lineup Monday against the Tigers, Brian McTaggart of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Aoki is just 6-for-44 (.136) with one RBI since April 28, so he'll head to the bench to clear his mind while Marwin Gonzalez draws the start in left field.

Aoki is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Though the opposition will start a right-handed pitcher for the fourth game in a row, Aoki will find himself on the bench for the third time with no DH spot available in the interleague matchup. The 35-year-old Aoki has maintained a respectable .279 average and .337 on-base percentage on the season, but the Astros' wealth of outfield options will continue to result in him sitting out multiple times per week.
