Feliz was victimized by Alex Bregman on Monday, allowing a solo home run in his lone inning.
EDGE Analysis
That's now two straight outings in which Feliz has allowed a run after giving up a total of two runs in his previous 13 appearances. Feliz has had a resurgent season, posting a 3.10 ERA and 1.05 WHIP. He should settle down return to form sooner rather than later.

Feliz walked two in a scoreless eighth inning Friday, recording his team-leading 25th hold of the season. He also struck out one batter.
EDGE Analysis
The flame thrower retired Scott Schebler swinging with a 100-mph fastball to end the inning. While Feliz remains the team's eighth-inning set-up man, he figures to see occasional saves opportunities down the stretch. Only Tony Watson stands between Feliz and the closer's role, and Watson hasn't looked great in his first couple chances (though he's not currently in jeopardy of losing his job).

Feliz struggled Friday, giving up two runs (one earned) on one hit and one walk while retiring just one batter.
EDGE Analysis
The righty exercised poor judgment on a bunt, allowing one inherited run to score and then gave up a two-run, opposite-fielder homer to Michael Taylor. Feliz has pitched pretty well over the last month but he'll need to do better to keep his role in the second half.

Feliz notched his first save of the season Monday against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
The righty has settled into a seventh-inning role with Pittsburgh but was pressed into late-inning action with both Tony Watson and Mark Melancon unavailable. Feliz hasn't allowed a run in nine outings and holds a 2.84 ERA and 0.95 WHIP in 31.2 innings.

Feliz gave up three runs on two hits and a walk in one inning Friday against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Matt Carpenter touched Feliz for a three-run homer, the second he's allowed in three outings. The Pirates flip-flopped Feliz and Tony Watson, moving Watson to the seventh inning and Feliz to the eighth, but the results were less than positive. The hard-throwing righty is having a nice bounceback season from a 6.38 ERA and 1.56 WHIP (in 48 innings), but he's going through a rough stretch right now.

Feliz worked a scoreless eighth inning Wednesday, giving up one hit while striking out one batter.
EDGE Analysis
Feliz struck Paul Goldschmidt out swinging on a 98 mph fastball. With Tony Watson on paternity leave for possibly two more days, the righty becomes Pittsburgh's second option to close behind Mark Melancon. He's quietly having a good season with 10 holds, a 21:3 K:BB, 3.45 ERA and 0.89 WHIP in 15.2 innings.

Feliz hurled a scoreless seventh inning Monday, throwing 12 of 15 pitches for strikes.
EDGE Analysis
The outing was Feliz's first since May 8, though there's no indication the righty was injured. He was throwing 96-97 mph and had a relatively easy outing against Atlanta. In 13.1 innings, he's compiled a 4.05 ERA, 0.98 WHIP and an impressive 18:3 K:BB.

Feliz recorded a single out by way of strikeout in Sunday's game against St. Louis.
EDGE Analysis
Feliz has been either hot or cold in 2016 as he's given up six earned runs in three of his 16 appearances while giving up no earned runs in his other 13 outings. The former 40-save-closer has 17 strikeouts over 12.3 innings of work which is significantly higher than his career 8.40 K/9 ratio. The 28-year-old has plenty of experience in relief roles during his MLB career and should be a counted upon bullpen member for the Pirates in 2016.

Feliz completed a scoreless eighth inning Sunday, striking out one batter while recording his first hold of the season.
EDGE Analysis
Feliz averaged 93.9 mph with his fastball and threw nine of 11 pitches for strikes. Surprisingly, he pitched the eighth inning instead of the seventh, but the Bucs brought in southpaw Tony Watson early to face a trio of lefties. Feliz has an opportunity to register more holds than he has over the course of his previous seven MLB seasons (15).

Felix threw a shutout inning Monday, giving him five clean outings and six scoreless innings in Grapefruit League action.
EDGE Analysis
The righthander, who signed with Pittsburgh in the offseason, is expected to give the Bucs a seventh-inning option. Felix has only struck out three batters but has yet to issue a walk. He's looking to rebound from a rough 2015 ending, when he compiled a 7.62 ERA and 1.48 WHIP in 28.1 IP for Detroit.
