Feliz pitched a scoreless ninth inning to collect his sixth save of the season during Sunday's win over Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
This was a solid bounce-back outing after Feliz took the loss in his last appearance. His scoreless outing Sunday chipped his ERA down to 5.91, so while his six saves and 9.3 K/9 are admirable marks, Feliz has had some struggles to start the season. It doesn't appear that his ninth-inning job is in any danger at this point, though.

Feliz allowed four runs on three hits and a walk, including a game-winning, three-run home run during Wednesday's loss to Chicago.
EDGE Analysis
Entering Wednesday's game, Feliz had allowed just a single run, two hits and two walks over 5.2 innings, so it would be ill-advised to overreact to a rough outing against the heart of the Chicago order. Remember, he did close them out for his fifth save on Monday. With Feliz's fastball clocking into the high-90s and his otherwise strong form, there's a good chance this outing was a blip on the radar and not a sign of things to come.

Feliz worked around a hit and a walk with one strikeout in a scoreless inning to record his fifth save of the season Monday against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Feliz allowed a single and a walk before recording an out, but he proceeded to induce a double-play grounder before striking out Kyle Schwarber to end the game. This was the first bit of trouble Feliz has really encountered this season, but he showed the ability to battle back, adding to his stock as one of the more productive fantasy closers through the early portion of the season.

Feliz struck out a pair in a perfect inning of work to record his fourth save of the season Sunday against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Feliz was all business after entering with a two-run lead, retiring the side in order and battling to strike out the final two men he faced. It has been a long journey for Feliz to regain the form that once made him a dominant closer, but he has looked like a former All-Star in the early stages while posting a 1.93 ERA and going 4-for-4 in save opportunities.

Feliz picked up a save against the Blue Jays for the second straight day Wednesday, working around a walk in a scoreless ninth inning.
EDGE Analysis
He failed to strike out a batter for the first time in five appearances, but Feliz still recorded his third save in as many tries. Those who took a shot on him in this year's drafts -- typically at a noticeable discount from the upper crust of closers -- have to be pleased with their purchase.

Feliz pitched a spotless ninth inning with a strikeout Tuesday in Toronto for his second save.
EDGE Analysis
Feliz hasn't seen a lot of work in the early going, as he's tossed just 2.2 innings over four appearances. The Brewers aren't a very good team, but even poor squads can produce plenty of save opportunities, and Feliz has no serious challenger among his mates in the bullpen. Having he found himself again in Pittsburgh last year, Feliz should be expected to put up respectable fantasy stats as Milwaukee's closer.

Feliz (0-1) gave up a game-winning solo home run to Nolan Arenado in the ninth inning of Thursday's 2-1 loss to the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Coming on to protect a 1-1 tie at home, the 28-year-old instead served up a no-doubt homer to Arenado, the first batter he faced. Feliz is showing improved velocity through the early part of 2017 but he also hasn't recorded double-digit saves since 2015, or topped 30 saves since 2011. Despite his heat, if he struggles to protect leads in April, the Brewers could quickly have a closer controversy on their hands.

Feliz's average fastball velocity was 98.0 mph in his Wednesday debut for the Brewers, compared to 96.1 in 2016, Tom Haudricourt of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
This might have to do with MLB's new method of tracking pitch spit out of the hand instead of at 50 feet, but it's still a positive that Feliz is dealing like this again. Feliz's history of home run issues make his owners a bit scared, considering his home outings happen in hitter-friendly Miller Park. Still, he likely was one of the cheapest closers to draft in fantasy leagues and could wind up returning a surprising amount of value, at least early in the season.

Feliz faced just one batter and struck him out for his first save of the year Wednesday against Colorado.
EDGE Analysis
He entered with a 6-1 lead, but Taylor Jungmann had gotten the Brewers into a mess, giving up a run and then loading the bases before being pulled with two outs. Because the tying run was on deck, it was a save opportunity, which Feliz took advantage of by whiffing Charlie Blackmon on five pitches. The Brewers don't seem entirely committed to Feliz as their closer, but the unproven Corey Knebel is the only other option worth considering, so it seems likely that the 28-year-old will hold the job for a while, if not all season.

Feliz tossed a perfect inning and struck out two batters in a spring game Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Feliz has been brought along a bit slowly this spring because his arrival at camp was delayed by visa issues, but he has now appeared in two games, so consider him on track moving forward. Feliz has been pounding the strike zone this spring, throwing all 14 of his pitches for strikes, so it appears it did not take him long to find his control. He was brought in to be the Brewers' closer and remains on track to open the season in that role.
