Napoli is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Napoli went 0-for-5 with three strikeouts Wednesday, so he'll get the day off after starting six straight games at first base. Joey Gallo will take over for him at first for the contest, opening a spot for Delino DeShields to start in left field.

Napoli went 2-for-4 with his 24th home run of the season and three RBI in Tuesday's 10-4 win over the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
Napoli's average is still sitting below the Mendoza Line for the season, but he's at least met expectations in the power department, as the 35-year-old has a legitimate chance at reaching the 30-homer plateau for the third time in his career. That being said, with home-run rates on the rise league wide, Napoli's contributions in that realm aren't as meaningful compared to years past, which no longer makes him a must-start fantasy option, particularly in shallower formats.

Napoli went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 8-3 win over the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Napoli's fourth-inning blast ended a 12-game skid in the home-run department, marking his longest drought of the season. The slugging first baseman had hit just .146 during the dry spell, which illustrates just how big of a liability he can become for fantasy owners when he endures a power outage. Unless Napoli's owners are desperate to make up ground in the home-run category, those in shallower leagues may be best off cutting him and picking up a more well-rounded hitter who carries less batting-average risk.

Napoli is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Mets, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Napoli will sit out for the second consecutive day, as the lack of the DH spot in the National League park will leave no room for him in the lineup. While Napoli is capable of playing first base, manager Jeff Banister has little incentive to hand a start Napoli at the expense of the red-hot Joey Gallo, who homered for the sixth time in seven games in the series opener. Look for Napoli to rejoin the starting nine Friday, when the Rangers kick off a three-game series with the Astros.

Napoli is not in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Mets, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
With no DH available against the Mets, Napoli will head to the bench as Shin-Soo Choo draws the start in right field and Joey Gallo moves to first base.

Napoli went 2-for-5 with an RBI and a run scored in Tuesday's 8-7 loss to the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Napoli's RBI single pulled the Rangers within a run in the bottom of the seventh inning, but the slugger couldn't tie things up in his subsequent at-bat, with his ninth-inning strikeout ending the game. It was one of three strikeouts on the night for Napoli, whose career-worst 33.8 strikeout percentage continues to hinder his batting average. Even with the two hits Tuesday, Napoli is still sitting on a .204 mark for the season.

Napoli went 3-for-5 with a double and a solo homer in Tuesday's 10-4 win over Miami.
EDGE Analysis
Almost every Rangers hitter got in on the rout, but few needed it as badly as Napoli, who'd gone 0-for-13 over the past four games, dropping his average under the Mendoza Line. He brought it back up to .206 in this one, but there's no arguing that this has been a rough campaign for Napoli despite his fine total of 22 homers. After all, when he hasn't been knocking balls out of the yard, the 35-year-old has been atrocious at the plate -- he has only eight doubles (and a triple, somehow) in 84 games this season.

Napoli went 2-for-4 with a three-run home run during Thursday's loss to Baltimore.
EDGE Analysis
It was the 21st homer of the year for Napoli, but his disappointing .209 batting average and .283 on-base percentage have capped his fantasy value. He's providing serviceable counting stats, but his 32.5 strikeout percentage has led to his crippling average and OBP. However, there's promise moving forward, as Napoli now has seven bombs during a 15-for-50 stretch at the dish over his past 15 games. His .232 BABIP is also unsustainably low.

Napoli is not in the lineup Monday against the Orioles, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Napoli has an extra-base hit in each game since the All-Star break, but he'll hit the bench for a night off Monday. Shin-Soo Choo will act as the designated hitter in his stead, while Drew Robinson fills the void in the outfield.

Napoli went 2-for-4 with a solo homer in Sunday's 4-3 loss to the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Solo shots by Napoli and Drew Robinson accounted for all the damage against Kansas City starter Ian Kennedy. The all-or-nothing slugger also struck out in this one, bringing his season total to 94 along with 20 homers.
