Manager Scott Servais said Wednesday that Leake (illness) will likely pitch this weekend in Arizona, TJ Cotterill of The Tacoma News Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Leake was scratched from Tuesday's projected start due to illness but it looks like he will be back in action after a few days off. If he's unable to go this weekend, look for Felix Hernandez to take the mound during the series finale.

Leake was scratched from Tuesday's scheduled start against the Astros due to illlness, Shannon Drayer of 710 ESPN Seattle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Reliever Nick Vincent will make his first major-league start in Leake's absence, while the newly-promoted Ross Detwiler could also cover some innings for the Mariners. Leake should be considered day-to-day for now, and it remains unclear if the Mariners will re-insert him into the rotation over the next couple games or will skip his turn entirely with scheduled off days Thursday and next Monday.

Leake didn't factor into the decision in Friday's 5-2 win over the Astros, giving up two runs on eight hits and a walk over six innings while striking out four.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander has been rock solid lately no matter the situation or opponent, delivering quality starts in five straight outings -- including one in Coors Field and two against Houston. Despite Leake's 3.19 ERA over that stretch, however, his record is only 0-1. He'll look to pick up his first win since June 23 when he takes the mound Wednesday in Oakland.

Leake allowed three earned runs on nine hits and no walks while striking out five against the Blue Jays on Sunday. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Despite allowing nine hits, Leake limited the Blue Jays to only two extra-base hits to limit the damage. He also worked efficiently, needing only 84 pitches to turn in his longest start since June 28. He has now turned in four consecutive quality starts, during which he has thrown 25 innings while allowing nine earned runs and 15 strikeouts. While those aren't dominant numbers, he has proven to be a viable option for deeper mixed and AL-only leagues.

Leake (8-7) took the loss Tuesday, allowing three runs on eight hits while striking out four over six innings against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Leake rolled through the first few frames then ran into trouble the third time through the order, allowing a run in the fifth and two more in the sixth. It still counts as a quality start, and the 30-year-old has thrown three of those in a row. His 5.4 K/9 isn't of much value for fantasy purposes, but he's got a 4.16 ERA and pitches for a club that should provide ample opportunities to pick up wins. Next up is a home start Sunday against the Blue Jays.

Leake got a quality start but didn't factor into the decision Wednesday against the Giants, striking out a pair in 6.1 innings and allowing two runs on four hits.
EDGE Analysis
Leake cruised through six scoreless innings before getting into trouble in the seventh, leaving after allowing a pair of hits to Brandon Belt and Brandon Crawford, both of whom would score. Still, it was a positive outing for Leake, who has now allowed just three earned runs in 12.1 innings over his last two starts. He'll hope to keep up that level of performance in a tough assignment against the Astros on Tuesday.

Leake didn't factor into the decision against Colorado on Sunday, giving up two runs (one earned) on six hits over six innings, striking out four and walking two in Seattle's 4-3 defeat.
EDGE Analysis
Coming off a rough start that saw him give up five earned over four innings to the Angels, Leake was able to rebound with a solid outing against a tough Colorado lineup. However, he would have to settle for the no-decision after his bullpen was tagged for a couple of runs after he left the contest. He now sports a 4.22 ERA and a 1.33 WHIP through 121.2 innings ahead of the All-Star break.

Leake (8-6) got the loss Tuesday, allowing seven runs (five earned) on 11 hits and two walks while striking out one over four innings against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Leake was hit hard, with four of the 11 hits going for extra bases including a two-run homer. The righty turned in a very strong June, but things haven't gone as smoothly since the calendar flipped to July; in two starts in the month, the 30-year-old has allowed 11 runs (eight earned) on 20 hits while sporting just a 5:3 K:BB over eight innings in a pair of losses to raise his ERA to 4.36. He'll look to right the ship next time out, but draws a tough matchup Sunday in Colorado.

Leake earned the loss Wednesday against the Angels, allowing four runs (three earned) in four innings. He gave up nine hits and a walk while striking out four.
EDGE Analysis
Leake pitched a clean first inning but struggled in every inning after that, allowing one run in the second, two runs in the fourth and another in the fifth before being removed from the game. Despite the poor start, Leake still owns an 8-5 record and a respectable 4.11 ERA on the year, even though his K/9 sits at a mere 5.64. He'll face the Angels again in his next start Tuesday.

Leake threw seven innings Thursday, allowing two runs on five hits (two home runs), a walk and six strikeouts in a 4-2 win over Baltimore.
EDGE Analysis
Leake was taken deep twice in the fourth inning by Manny Machado and Chris Davis, but aside from that had a pretty clean outing. The 5-foot-10 righty finished May with a 4.97 ERA, but has lowered that to a respectable 4.01 after Thursday's outing. Leake will take the mound next Wednesday against the Angels with a chance to drop that ERA below 4.00 for the first time since April.
