The Mariners are sending Miguel Olivo (hamstring) for an MRI. Olivo left Tuesday's game in the fourth inning with cramps in his right hamstring. They lost Chris Gimenez to an oblique injury during the same game, so their depth could really be tested if he requires a DL-stint. The Mariners added Josh Bard to the active roster for Wednesday's game.

Miguel Olivo exited Tuesday's game against the Braves with cramps. In other words, it could have been something much more serious. Olivo went to the clubhouse in order to get hydrated and treated, so we suspect he'll be just fine in the next day or so.

Miguel Olivo left Tuesday's game against the Braves in the top of the fourth inning with an apparent injury. The nature of the injury isn't exactly clear, but trainers were looking at his lower leg area in the dugout. This is just speculation, but Olivo may have tweaked something on his double in the bottom of the second inning. He was replaced by Chris Gimenez behind the plate. Stay tuned for an update on his status.

Miguel Olivo went 2-for-4 with the Mariners' lone RBI in their loss to the Nationals on Wednesday. Olivo's 35th RBI came on a fourth-inning single off John Lannan. With 11 home runs through 63 games played, Olivo's power has translated surprisingly well to the Mariners after he hit just .211 with a .598 OPS on the road as a member of the Rockies in 2010.
