Cuddyer (knee) remains out of the lineup Friday against the Dodgers. A stint on the disabled list remains a possibility for Cuddyer, but there's no word indicating that will occur at this point. John Mayberry Jr. will receive the start in left field in his place Friday, bating cleanup for the Mets.

Cuddyer (knee) is out of the lineup Thursday against the Cubs. It was initially thought that Cuddyer would need just a couple days off to take care of his knee soreness, but according to Adam Rubin of ESPN New York, the idea of a DL stint could be revisited in advance of Friday's series in Los Angeles. In the meantime, the Mets will use an outfield composed of Eric Campbell (left), Darrell Ceciliani (center) and Curtis Granderson (right).

The Mets believe Cuddyer will just need a couple days to get over his sore knee and a DL stint is not needed at the moment, the New York Post's Mike Puma reports. He left Tuesday's game with a sore left knee, and while he is out of the lineup Wednesday and likely out Thursday as well, he should be back sometime this weekend. John Mayberry is getting the start in left field Wednesday.

Cuddyer (knee) is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Cubs, Jared Diamond of The Wall Street Journal reports. Cuddyer is still awaiting the results of an MRI after prematurely exiting Tuesday's game with soreness in his left knee. With the veteran's status unclear at the moment, John Mayberry will take over in the outfield for the time being.

Cuddyer (knee) will have an MRI on Wednesday, the Star-Ledger's Mike Vorkunov reports. Cuddyer left midway through Tuesday's game as he did not feel he could run on his sore left knee. He should be considered day-to-day for now and if he misses more time Darrell Ceciliani would be an option to take his at-bats. If Cuddyer ends up on the DL, the Mets could dip into the farm system and call up Michael Conforto or Brandon Nimmo from Double-A.

Cuddyer left Tuesday's game with a sore left knee, ESPN New York's Adam Rubin reports. The elephant in the room is that the Mets might be a better team without Cuddyer, who is slashing just .245/.299/.368 with subpar defense. That said, it sounds like it could be a minor injury and he should be considered day-to-day for now. Darrell Ceciliani replaced Cuddyer on Tuesday and would figure to be in the mix if Cuddyer misses more time.

Cuddyer is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Reds. The team is likely just resting the 36-year-old after he played in Saturday's game that was suspended till Sunday due to rain. Cuddyer recorded just one hit in six at-bats last game and will look to get back on track in the Mets' next outing. John Mayberry will start in left field in his place.

Cuddyer is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Brewers. It's said to be just a day off for the 36-year-old Cuddyer after six straight starts -- he reportedly preferred to sit out Wednesday rather than Thursday afternoon. Cuddyer has gone hitless in his last three games (0-for-11), lowering his batting line for the month of June to .233/.253/.342. Darrell Ceciliani will get the start in left field in his absence.

Cuddyer, who was out of the lineup Tuesday, is back in the lineup Wednesday serving as the designated hitter, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports. The Mets are up in Toronto for the next two games and get the benefit of having a DH in an AL-park. As such, Cuddyer will DH while Darren Ceciliani plays left field.
