Kemp was diagnosed with a chest wall contusion after leaving Sunday's game against the Padres in the fourth inning.
EDGE Analysis
Kemp ran into the wall in the third inning and was pulled shortly thereafter. No timetable was given on the injury, but if he misses further action, Jesse Winker and Scott Schebler should benefit with everyday at-bats.

Kemp was removed from Sunday's game against the Padres in the fourth inning and is undergoing tests to his chest area, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kemp ran into the left field wall in the third inning, trying to catch a ball headed over the fence. He wanted to stay in the game, but manager David Bell determined that Kemp was in too much pain. If Kemp is out, Jesse Winker -- who replaced Kemp Sunday -- should have a chance for full-time at-bats.

Kemp is starting in left field and batting cleanup Monday against the Dodgers' Clayton Kershaw, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kemp is one of eight right-handed hitters in the lineup to face Kershaw. He's hitting a paltry .162/.162/.243 so far this season, with 14 strikeouts and no walks, though he did homer last week against the Marlins.

Kemp went 2-for-3 with a three-run homer and two runs in a 14-0 victory against the Marlins on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
The 34-year-old was the first of three straight batters to hit a home run for the Reds in the sixth Tuesday night. On the blast, Kemp picked up his first homer and RBI with the Reds this season. He is 4-for-27 (.148) with one extra-base hit, three RBI and three runs in nine games.

Kemp will start in left field and will bat third in Tuesday's game against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Kemp will stick in the lineup for the third time in four games and should pick up another start Wednesday while Yasiel Puig finishes up a two-game suspension. Despite receiving steady work as the Reds' fourth outfielder this season, Kemp has yet to get going at the dish. He enters the series opener with two hits and 10 strikeouts over 22 at-bats.

Kemp got his first hit as a Red in Wednesday's loss to the Brewers with a single in the ninth inning.
EDGE Analysis
Unfortunately for Kemp and the Reds, he didn't come around to score, as they were shut out by Freddy Peralta and Alex Wilson. Kemp is just 1-for-12 with five strikeouts in the first five games of the season.

Kemp will start in left field and bat fifth Sunday against the Pirates, Rob Biertempfel of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kemp was slated to draw his first start prior to the postponement Saturday, but remains in the lineup Sunday. He'll replace Jesse Winker, though Kemp is still expected to appear primarily off the bench unless injuries strike the Reds' outfield.

Kemp will start in left field and hit fifth Saturday against the Pirates, Bobby Nightengale of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kemp will be making his regular-season debut for the Reds after failing to see any use off the bench in Thursday's Opening Day win. He'll check into the lineup for a resting Jesse Winker, though it's still expected that Winker, Scott Schebler and Yasiel Puig will make up the Cincinnati outfield in the majority of games to begin the season. Kemp's path to at-bats will become even more blocked once top prospect Nick Senzel (ankle) gets healthy and earns a callup from Triple-A Louisville.

Kemp hit his second homer of the spring Monday against the Diamondbacks. He's off to a good start this spring, but right now he doesn't have a projected place to play, Mark Sheldon of MLB.com reports. "It's a great question, because he's been such a good player for so long," Reds manager David Bell said on Monday. "He's the kind of player that can carry a team. He's that kind of offensive player. He's been on good teams, he's been on great teams. He just brings so much. I don't have the answer to that."
EDGE Analysis
Bell has stated that he wants Yasiel Puig to start in right field and Jesse Winker in left field, with the starting center field job up between Nick Senzel and Scott Schebler. Kemp's best bet is if Senzel begins the year in the minors and that he starts against lefties.
