Holliday went 1-for-5 with a three-run home run during Wednesday's win over Toronto.
EDGE Analysis
The 37-year-old veteran is having a nice season hitting in the heart of the Yankee lineup, and Wednesday's three-run bomb was his third homer in six games. He's now up to solid .269/.389/.526 slash line with nine runs, five home runs and 18 RBI. Those numbers play in the majority of fantasy settings.

Holliday went 3-for-5 with a walk, a double, three runs scored and a three-run home run in the 10th inning to give the Yankees a 14-11 win over the Orioles on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
The walkoff shot was Holliday's third homer of the season. The 37-year-old is now slashing .263/.411/.474 through 19 games with 13 RBI, and his .885 OPS would be his highest mark since 2011 if he can keep up the pace.

Holliday is not in the lineup for Friday's series opener with the Pirates, Erik Boland of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
With the Yankees playing in a National League park, there's no designated hitter to keep Holliday in the lineup, so he'll head to the bench for a night off. The Yankees could try to slide Holliday into the lineup in the corner outfield or at first base in order to get him some action this weekend, but that will be determined in the coming days.

Holliday went 1-for-4 with a three-run home run during Monday's win over the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
This was a nice return for the veteran, as Holliday had missed the prior two games with lower back stiffness. He also snapped an 0-for-11 slump with the homer and is now up to eight RBI through 11 games. He should continue to provide respectable numbers hitting in the heart of the lineup, and especially if the Yankees continue to pile on runs in bunches. It's just difficult to envision Holliday remaining healthy all season after missing significant time in each of the past two seasons.

Holliday (back) will bat third as the designated hitter in Monday's game against the White Sox, Colleen Kane of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Holliday missed the last two games due to lower back stiffness, but it appears he is over that issue as he is back in the heart of the Yankees' order. He's 8-for-33 with one homer and a 10:8 BB:K through 10 games with the Bronx Bombers so far.

Holliday (back) is expected to be available in Monday's contest against the White Sox, the Associated Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 37-year-old was a late scratch Saturday with a stiff lower back and missed Sunday's game with the ailment, but manager Joe Girardi indicated Holliday was feeling much better. If and when he's ready to return to the lineup, Holliday figures to serve as the DH and hit somewhere in the middle of the order, where he'll see his fair share of RBI opportunities.

Holliday (back) remains out of the lineup for Sunday's series finale against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran is set to sit out his second straight game after being scratched with back tightness earlier in the series. Jacoby Ellsbury will take over as the Yankees' designated hitter and bat cleanup against Adam Wainwright. Holliday's next chance to return will come Monday when the Yankees open up a series against the White Sox.

Holliday was scratched from Saturday's lineup with lower-back stiffness, Brendan Kuty of The Star-Ledger reports.
EDGE Analysis
Originally slated to bat third as the DH, Holliday simply didn't feel right prior to the game. The 37-year-old is hitting .242 with a home run and five RBI this season and can be considered day-to-day moving forward. Chris Carter will start in his place.

Holliday reached base four times Friday, going 2-for-2 with a home run and a pair of walks in the 6-5 loss to the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Holliday did his part in the losing effort, as he drove in three and went 2-for-2 with RISP while the rest of his teammates floundered to a 1-for-8 mark in that department. The 37-year-old has been the club's DH and has been slotted into the cleanup spot in all four games thus far, so he should continue to see plenty of RBI opportunities going forward.

Holliday will occupy the DH slot and bat fourth in the order in Sunday's season opener against the Rays, MLB.com's Bryan Hoch reports.
EDGE Analysis
After a seven and a half years with the Cardinals, Holliday signed a one-year deal with the Yankees in the offseason to replace the tandem of Alex Rodriguez and Carlos Beltran at DH. Though he's now 37 years old, Holliday showed in spring training that he still has plenty left in the tank, as he hit .283 with four homers in 53 at-bats during Grapefruit League play. While injuries remain more of a concern for Holliday at this stage of his career, assuming a DH role rather than having to regularly play the field should help him from a durability standpoint. It wouldn't be surprising if he surpassed the 20-homer mark for the 11th time in his career in 2017.
