Harvey allowed two earned runs on three hits while striking out three and walking one across 4.2 innings in game one of Thursday's doubleheader against the Mariners. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Harvey held the Mariners scoreless through four innings, but struggled in his final frame. He earned the first two outs without trouble, but then surrendered a single and home run prior to being yanked after another runner reached base. Overall, it was a decent start for Harvey -- despite his inability to work deep into the contest -- and he maintains a 5.02 ERA with a 12:3 K:BB across 14.1 innings this season.

Harvey's scheduled start Wednesday was postponed and he will start Game 1 of a Thursday doubleheader against the Mariners, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
He will get an extra day of rest and could have an easier time securing a win in a seven-inning game than in a nine-inning affair. Bruce Zimmerman starts the nightcap for Baltimore.

Harvey (0-1) allowed four earned runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out five across five innings to take the loss Thursday against the Red Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Harvey ran into immediate trouble, surrendering a two-run homer to Rafael Devers in the first inning. However, he settled in from there and wasn't charged with any additional runs until he allowed two hitters to reach base in the sixth inning that ultimately came around to score after he was pulled. Though he's struggled to pitch deep into games, Harvey has managed decent results across two starts this season by allowing six earned runs across 9.2 innings while posting a 9:2 K:BB. He's projected to draw his next start Wednesday against Seattle.

Harvey allowed two runs in 4.2 innings Saturday against Boston, striking out four while giving up six hits and a walk.
EDGE Analysis
It was far from a dominant outing for the 32-year-old, but it was an encouraging one nonetheless for a pitcher who's struggled to a 6.09 ERA over the last four seasons. He was pulled one out shy of being eligible for a win after allowing three baserunners and one run in the fifth inning. He faced the minimum just once, but the performance still exceeded the low standard he's set in recent seasons and did nothing to suggest that he's about to lose his rotation role.

The Orioles selected Harvey's contract Thursday, officially adding him to their 40-man and active rosters.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old looks like he'll break camp as a member of Baltimore's rotation. Though Harvey has been charged with six earned runs on 10 hits (including three homers) over 10 innings in his three Grapefruit League starts, he's issued only one walk. Perhaps most importantly, he's impressed manager Brandon Hyde with his velocity readings, according to Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com. Despite his background as a former staff ace for the Mets, Harvey's poor track record in the majors over the last several seasons should prompt fantasy players to tread cautiously. He shouldn't warrant much attention outside of AL-only leagues until he turns in some promising results.

Harvey (lat) signed a minor-league contract with the Orioles on Saturday, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harvey missed the final few weeks of the 2020 season due to a right lat strain, but he'll presumably compete for a big-league roster spot during spring training in 2021. The 31-year-old made seven appearances (four starts) for the Royals last year, posting an 11.57 ERA and 2.74 WHIP over 11.2 innings.

Harvey (lat) was transferred to the 45-day injured list Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran right-hander was already ruled out for the season with the right lat strain, so the move is just procedural to clear a spot on Kansas City's 40-man roster. Harvey posted an 11.57 ERA, 2.74 WHIP and 10:5 K:BB over 11.2 innings before going down with the injury.

The Royals placed Harvey on the 10-day injured list Wednesday with a right lat strain.
EDGE Analysis
Harvey's injury had previously been deemed right posterior shoulder discomfort, but a different label for the injury was provided when Kansas City announced his move to the IL. In any case, the injury will sideline Harvey for the remainder of the season, as the 20-29 Royals would need a miracle to reach the playoffs. Over his seven appearances (four starts) with Kansas City, Harvey posted an 11.57 ERA and 2.74 WHIP across 11.2 innings.

Harvey exited Tuesday's loss to the Tigers with right posterior shoulder discomfort, Lynn Worthy of The Kansas City Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran right-hander struck out the first two batters he faced but exited with the shoulder issue after giving up a solo homer, a double and a single. It was Harvey's first outing since shifting to the bullpen, and it's unclear how long he'll be sidelined.

Harvey will move into the bullpen going forward, Lynn Worthy of The Kansas City Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harvey has turned things around during his last two appearances after struggling mightily to begin the season, but he'll transition to the bullpen with Carlos Hernandez (abdomen) starting for the Royals on Saturday. It's unclear whether the Royals will continue to utilize a six-man rotation or if they'll use five starters for the remainder of the season. Harvey carries an 11.70 ERA and 2.70 WHIP over 10 innings during five appearances (four starts) this year.
