Manager Brandon Hyde said Thursday that Harvey will undergo further testing on his injured knee before the team determines if he'll be able to return this season, Roch Kubatko of MASNSports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harvey was moved to the 10-day injured list earlier Thursday with right knee inflammation. Hyde said that the right-hander is "definitely going to be out a while," and given that there are just over three weeks remaining in the season, it's certainly possible that Harvey has thrown his last pitch of 2021. The 32-year-old's status should become more clear in coming days.

Harvey was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday with right knee inflammation, Dan Connolly of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran started Wednesday giving up four runs (three earned) over 4.1 innings, and he was pulled at 74 pitches. Harvey has struggled to a 7.03 ERA in his last five starts and will now be out until at least Aug. 19. Infielder Richie Martin was recalled from Triple-A Norfolk Thursday to replace him on the roster.

Harvey didn't factor into the decision in Wednesday's 9-8 win over the Royals, giving up four runs (three earned) on nine hits and a walk over 4.1 innings. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran righty tossed 51 of 74 pitches for strikes before getting the hook, and he seemed headed for his 15th loss of the year before the O's erupted for all nine of their runs in the eighth inning. Harvey has managed to complete six frames only once in his last seven starts, struggling to a 6.48 ERA, 1.56 WHIP, 1.9 HR/9 and 23:10 K:BB through 33.1 innings over that stretch. However, Baltimore's lack of dependable alternatives -- or prospects worth auditioning -- will likely keep Harvey in the rotation over the final weeks of the season.

Harvey yielded four runs on six hits and a walk without striking out a batter in four innings versus Toronto on Wednesday. He did not factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Harvey had lost his last four starts, but he escaped a fifth straight defeat when Trey Mancini's RBI double tied the game at 4-4 in the seventh inning. It was still another ugly outing for Harvey, who saw his ERA tick up to 6.28 with a 1.52 WHIP and 93:36 K:BB through 123.1 innings. He remains in Baltimore's rotation primarily due to a lack of better alternatives, and he's projected to make his next start at home versus Kansas City next week.

Harvey (6-14) allowed three runs on four hits and a walk while striking out four in six innings to take the loss against the Rays on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Harvey has given up at least three runs in each of his last four outings, and he's now tied for the league lead in losses. The right-hander tossed 18.1 scoreless innings in his first three starts after the All-Star break but struggled in August and posted a 6.12 ERA and 1.40 WHIP in 25 innings across five outings. He tentatively lines up to make his next start on the road against Toronto on Wednesday.

Harvey (6-13) took the loss against Atlanta on Saturday, pitching 5.1 innings and allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk while striking out five.
EDGE Analysis
Three of the seven hits Harvey gave up in the contest went for extra bases, including two that left the yard. After a five-game stretch from June 30 to July 30 during which the veteran hurler didn't surrender any long balls over 26.1 frames, he has given up six homers across 19 innings over his past four starts. The last three of those outings have been losses, and he is now tied for the second-most losses in MLB with 13. He'll try to get back in the win column when he next takes the mound, likely next weekend at home against Tampa Bay.

Harvey (6-12) took the loss versus Tampa Bay on Monday. He allowed five runs on five hits, a walk and a hit batter while striking out six in 4.2 innings.
EDGE Analysis
After assembling an 18.1-inning scoreless streak out of the All-Star break, Harvey has now yielded 10 runs in his last 13.2 innings. The right-hander was taken deep twice Monday as Kevin Kiermaier and Brandon Lowe helped Tampa firm up its lead in the fifth inning. Harvey has a 6.25 ERA, 1.55 WHIP and 84:33 K:BB through 108 innings this season. He's projected to face Atlanta at home this weekend in his next start.

Harvey (6-11) took the loss Wednesday as the Orioles were downed 5-2 by the Tigers, giving up three runs on eight hits and three walks over five innings. He struck out five.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran right-hander didn't pitch poorly and held Detroit scoreless for four innings, but he faded in the fifth and received no run support. Harvey's brief run of success after the All-Star break (three straight scoreless, quality starts) has ended with a predictable thud, and on the season he carries a 6.10 ERA, 1.56 WHIP and 78:32 K:BB through 103.1 innings.

Harvey (knee) is scheduled to start Wednesday against the Tigers, Nathan Ruiz of The Baltimore Sun reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harvey had his previous start shortened by a knee injury, but it won't affect his availability for the next turn through the rotation. The right-hander has a 6.13 ERA for the season but has pitched much better over his last four starts with a 0.81 ERA, 0.72 WHIP and 12:3 K:BB across 22.1 innings.

Harvey exited Wednesday's start against the Yankees after tweaking his knee, Dan Connolly of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Harvey did not factor into the decision of Wednesday's loss, allowing two runs on three hits and a pair of walks in four innings before exiting. The Orioles have a couple off days coming up, meaning Harvey isn't scheduled to pitch again until Tuesday against the Tigers. Manager Brandon Hyde expressed optimism in the veteran righty's ability to make that start.
