Harrison (back) will start Tuesday against the Diamondbacks, T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports. Harrison refused to agree to an extended rehab assignment for the Rangers, likely speeding up the timetable for his activation in the process. In six starts between Double-A and Triple-A, he's posted a 21:15 K:BB over 34.2 innings this season.

Harrison (back) is expected to start Tuesday or Wednesday, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports. Harrison will make one last rehab appearances at Double-A Frisco this week before rejoining the Rangers. His activation should come early next week, but the Rangers are yet to decide whether he'll take the hill Tuesday or Wednesday against the Diamondbacks.

Harrison (back) will make one final rehab appearance this week before rejoining the Rangers, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. Harrison has informed Texas that he will not agree to an extended rehab assignment, which will require Texas to activate him by the end of the week. His eventual role has not been determined.

Harrison (back) is expected to throw a bullpen session in Toronto this weekend before making another rehab start, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. The plan is said to be tentative, but Harrison struggled again in a rehab outing with Double-A Frisco on Wednesday (five earned runs in six innings) and it sounds like the Rangers want to see more before entrusting him with a major league rotation spot. Harrison, who underwent spinal fusion surgery last summer, has made just four starts in the majors since 2012.

Harrison (back) will make his next rehab start Wednesday at Double-A Frisco. Harrison didn't fare well in his last rehab start, allowing eight runs (six earned) on nine hits over six innings. In fact, it was the second time in four rehab starts that he's surrendered more than six earned runs. Despite an earlier report that he would move up to Triple-A Round Rock, it looks like the Rangers will keep him down in Double-A for his next outing. He is still likely several rehab appearances away from rejoining the Major League club.

Harrison (back) will make his next rehab start Friday at Triple-A Round Rock, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star Telegram reports. The plan is for Harrison to make a few more rehab starts before returning to the Rangers, but he seems to be recovering well considering he threw 98 pitches in his last appearance without issue.

Harrison (back) will likely be asked to make a few more rehab appearances, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. Texas starters have reeled off a club-record 11-straight quality starts, which no doubt is playing some role in a seemingly cautious approach in bringing Harrison back. Harrison threw 98 pitches in his most recent rehab start, so conditioning shouldn't be an issue.

Harrison gave up two runs over 6.2 innings in Sunday's rehab start for Triple-A Round Rock, striking out four batters on 98 pitches, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. Given the pitch count and innings total, Harrison is seemingly ready to join the Rangers' starting rotation. With the team's current group of starters performing surprisingly well, it remains to be seen when that will actually happen.

Harrison (back) is slated for 100 pitches in his rehab start Sunday, Fox Sports Southwest's Anthony Andro reports. Given the anticipated workload Sunday, Harrison could rejoin the Rangers' rotation at any point following that outing. Wandy Rodriguez and Chi Chi Gonzalez would be the options for him to unseat, but that may not happen anytime soon. For now, just continue to monitor Harrison's health and his effectiveness in these rehab outings.

Harrison allowed eight hits, two walks and six runs over 5 innings in a rehab start at Triple-A Round Rock on Monday. Harrison faded down the stretch, with four of his last five hitters reaching base, but he was able to increase his workload up to 86 pitches. The effectiveness of the Texas rotation affords them the opportunity to be patient with Harrison here as he returns to form.
