Logan Forsythe Signs With The Marlins rotoballer.com Wed 7/29/20 2:38 PM

The Miami Marlins signed infielder Logan Forsythe on Wednesday. The Marlins are scrambling to put together a team of players with big league experience, and Forsythe has plenty of it. It helps that he can play multiple positions, too. He hit just .227/.325/.353 as a member of the Rangers last season, so he's unlikely to provide much fantasy value whenever the Marlins get back on the field.

Phillies Release Logan Forsythe rotoballer.com Sat 7/18/20 2:37 PM

The Philadelphia Phillies have released infielder Logan Forsythe, according to Ken Rosenthal. Forsythe has struggled in recent years, as he hasn't hit above .232 since 2016 with Tampa Bay. He really struggled last season, putting up just a .678 OPS with a career-high 27.2 strikeout rate. Forsythe had his years of usefulness in fantasy, but at this point those years appear to be behind him. If he winds up with a new team, it would likely be in a utility role, so he is someone that can be avoided ...

Logan Forsythe is Out of the Lineup Wednesday rotoballer.com Wed 9/11/19 6:10 PM

Texas Rangers infielder Logan Forsythe (ribs) is out of the starting lineup for Wednesday's game against the Tampa Bay Rays. Forsythe was a late scratch from Tuesday's game due to intercostal muscle tightness. It's unclear how long Forsythe is going to be sidelined at the moment. Nick Solak will draw the start at third base and bat fifth versus righty Andrew Kittredge. Solak is hitting just about everything right now, so he is someone worth looking at as a cheap DFS option.

Digger Deeper: AL-Only Waiver Wire Report for Week 14 rotoballer.com Fri 7/5/19 1:00 AM

very week in baseball, a significant player will hit the disabled list, slip into a slump, or get traded out of a good spot. How fantasy owners adapt to these situations can make or break the season as a whole. One lousy add might not hurt the long-term standing of a team, but failing to take advantage of breakouts or impact bats before others sure can.The primary challenge of playing in an NL or AL-only league is often the lack of options regarding adding and subtracting players when needed. In[...]

In the midst of all of these bright and shiny superstar-hopefuls arriving in the MLB, there are plenty of [...]
