Forsythe was released by the Brewers on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Forsythe served as organizational depth while the Brewers dealt with a rash of injuries, but the team never needed to call him up to the active roster. He hit .250/.483/.400 in 17 games for Triple-A Nashville and will now head elsewhere in search of his next opportunity.

Forsythe signed a minor-league contract with the Brewers on Tuesday and was assigned to Triple-A Nashville, Will Sammon of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Forsythe will serve as organizational depth for a Brewers team that has seen far more than its fair share of injuries so far this season. The 34-year-old has some good seasons on his resume, but he hasn't produced a wRC+ higher than 75 since 2017.

Forsythe was placed on the 45-day injured list Friday with a right oblique strain.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran infielder presumably suffered the injury during Tuesday's doubleheader against the Mets, when he went 0-for-2. Forsythe doesn't have an official timeline for his return, but his placement on the 45-day injured list rules him out for the rest of the regular season, at least.

Forsythe is out of the lineup Sunday against the Mets, Jordan McPherson of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Forsythe has started four of six games and is 3-for-13 with a home run since joining the Marlins, but he'll head to the bench Sunday. The veteran infielder has already seen time at first base, second base and designated hitter with Miami still missing much of their Opening Day roster.

Forsythe went 1-for-2 with two walks and a solo home run in Saturday's 8-4 loss to the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Forsythe has been a regular in the Marlins' lineup since they resumed play, filling in at first base, second base and DH in the last three days. He will continue to help out around the diamond while batting near the bottom of the order with a large portion of the team's Opening Day roster currently unavailable.

Forsythe is not in the lineup for the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Forsythe started in his first game with the Marlins on Tuesday after signing with the team and went 0-for-3 with a strikeout. He should see fairly regular playing time while the team deals with a COVID-19 outbreak, but Matt Joyce will shift to the designated hitter with Jon Berti starting in right field and batting second in the first game of Wednesday's doubleheader.

Forsythe signed a one-year, major-league deal with the Marlins and is batting sixth as the designated hitter Tuesday against the Orioles, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran infielder's deal with Miami was initially reported last week, as the team is in dire need of players with over half the roster unavailable following the COVID-19 outbreak among players and staff. Forsythe should see regular playing time until the roster is back up to full strength, and a strong performance early on could earn him a role as a useful bench option.

Forsythe agreed to a contract Wednesday with the Marlins, Craig Mish of SportsGrid.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Forsythe's deal is likely a minor-league agreement, but he'll presumably be added to the 30-man active roster when the Marlins return to action next week, given that Miami has had 15 players in its 60-man roster pool test positive for COVID-19 in recent days. The 33-year-old's ability to play all over the infield and in the corner outfield should at the very least make him a useful bench piece, even if he doesn't capture a regular spot in the starting lineup.

Forsythe was released by the Phillies on Saturday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Forsythe seemed to have had a legitimate shot to earn a bench role in Philadelphia, but the team evidently would rather give at-bats to the likes of fellow veteran infielders Josh Harrison and Neil Walker. As a 33-year-old coming off a pair of seasons in which he produced a wRC+ of 71 and 75, Forsythe is unlikely to be particularly appealing on the free agent market.

Forsythe will be part of the Phillies' 60-man roster.
EDGE Analysis
Forsythe saw his 2019 campaign with the Rangers cut a bit short due to a ribs injury, but he received a camp invite to Philly and went 8-for-23 with three homers this spring before the shutdown. While he isn't on the 40-man roster yet, Forsythe still put himself in position to break camp and provide the Phillies with infield depth at all positions. Should he prove able to out-duel the likes of Neil Walker and Josh Harrison for a final roster spot, he'd also give the team another solid right-handed bat, as he owns a career .761 OPS against southpaws. Rosters expanding to 30 players will give him a better shot to carve out a role.
