It wasn't pretty -- Lohse walked three and struck out three to go along with his seven hits allowed -- but all wins count the same. The 35-year-old is now 9-2 with a 3.20 ERA and 1.07 WHIP through 16 starts. He'll go for his 10th win of the year against the same Rockies bunch on Friday in Milwaukee.

Kyle Lohse yielded four runs -- three earned -- on four hits and three walks in a no-decision versus the Diamondbacks on Tuesday. He was coming off one of his best outings of the year, holding the Mets to an unearned run over eight innings in Thursday's win. This time around wasn't as smooth, as Lohse struck out three and walked three. It was the first time the right-hander has issued as many as three free passes since April 18. Lohse takes a 3.09 ERA into a tough assignment this weekend against a savage offense in Colorado.

The outing required only 93 pitches. Lohse is now 7-1 on the season with a 2.60 ERA, 1.00 WHIP, and 65/13 K/BB ratio in 83 innings. He'll get the Pirates at PNC Park next.

Lohse keeps on keepin' on, as Wednesday's outing gives him ten consecutive starts in which he has allowed three or fewer runs. The right-hander only allowed four hits, walked none, and struck out eight. Lohse now owns a 2.67 ERA, a 1.05 WHIP, and a 54/13 K/BB ratio in 67 1/3 innings. He'll go for his seventh win next week at home against the Orioles.

Two of the hits the right-hander gave up left the yard, but he was able to cruise through the final four innings unscathed before the Brewers' bullpen closed it out. The owner of a 5-1 record and 2.88 ERA, Lohse will try to keep it going next week in Atlanta.
