Ruggiano (shoulder) was placed on the disabled list Saturday, Matt Ehalt of The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ruggiano departed Friday night's game with discomfort in his left shoulder, and he'll now head back to the DL, where he spent more than two weeks earlier in the month due to a hamstring issue. Since returning on August 18, Ruggiano had notched six hits, including two home runs, in 16 at-bats. A corresponding roster move is yet to be announced.

Ruggiano hit his second home run in a 1-for-3 game with a walk in Tuesday's win over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Ruggiano is off to a hot start for the Mets, with two home runs out of his six hits to go with six RBI in just three games since he came off the disabled list August 18. With Jay Bruce struggling, Ruggiano could be in line for many more at-bats if the Mets opt to ride the hot hand.

Ruggiano went 3-for-5 with a grand slam against Giants ace Madison Bumgarner and two runs scored in Thursday's 10-7 loss.
EDGE Analysis
The outfielder got only three games and six at-bats in with the Mets before hitting the DL with a hamstring injury at the start of August, but he returned with a bang against one of the game's best pitchers. Of course, Ruggiano's always been known for his platoon splits (.861 career OPS against lefties, just .694 against righties), so he'll likely only crack the lineup when the Mets are facing southpaws.

Ruggiano (hamstring), activated from the 15-day disabled list Thursday, is starting in center field against Madison Bumgarner.
EDGE Analysis
Regina's playing time will mirror what Juan Lagares used to receive; starts against southpaws. Bumgarner fits that bill, so Ruggiano is in center field, batting sixth, against the tough lefty.

Ruggiano (hamstring) has been activated from the 15-day disabled list, Adam Rubin of ESPN.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Mets receive some needed outfield depth with Ruggiano's return from a hamstring injury. The Mets have yet to post Thursday's lineup, but he could be a candidate to draw in against left-hander Madison Bumgarner.

Ruggiano (hamstring) will join the Mets in San Francisco on Thursday, Marc Carig of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
The official activations of he and Asdrubal Cabrera (knee) should come prior to Thursday's contest against the Giants. Ruggiano's return should provide some depth in the Mets' outfield, but it's no guarantee he will see everyday action.

EDGE Analysis
Ruggiano is set to get back on the field after being sidelined by a hamstring injury the last couple weeks. It's not clear how many rehab games he will require, but he is eligible to rejoin the Mets on Wednesday.

Ruggiano (hamstring) was placed on the 15-day DL, Marc Carig of Newsday reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ruggiano had played just three games for the Mets before going down with an injury. The team has yet to indicate how long he'll be out, but look for Michael Conforto to start in the outfield during his absence.

Ruggiano exited Monday's game against the Yankees with a strained left hamstring, Kristie Ackert of the New York Daily News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ruggiano suffered the injury in the third inning while running to first base and was replaced by Michael Conforto in the outfield. He was making just his second start since being signed by the Mets on July 30. Consider him day-to-day until the team announces otherwise.

Riggiano signed with the Mets and is in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Rockies, Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports.
EDGE Analysis
Recently released by the Rangers, Ruggiano will join the Mets and and immediately enter the lineup in center field Saturday. The 34-year-old has appeared in only one major league game on the season, spending the bulk of the year at Triple-A Round Rock, where he slashed an uninspiring .226/.321/.427 in 164 at-bats. The Mets are hoping the righty can rediscover the touch that made him a productive (.291/.350/.618) option, at times, for the Dodgers last season.
