Teheran did not factor into the decision Saturday, allowing one run on six hits and one walk over seven innings against the Athletics. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
Teheran posted season highs in innings completed and strikeouts but still couldn't pick up a win, as Oakland's pitching staff stymied Milwaukee's offense. The right-hander has been stellar through four starts after signing with the Brewers at the end of May, posting a 1.48 ERA, 0.95 WHIP and 16:3 K:BB across 24.1 innings, but he has just one win to show for his efforts. Milwaukee's rotation continues to be banged up, so Teheran should get plenty of opportunities moving forward, especially if he continues to pitch the way he did Saturday. His next start is is tentatively scheduled for a three-game weekend set versus the Pirates.

Teheran (1-2) took the loss against Cincinnati on Monday, allowing two runs on six hits and one walk while striking out five batters over 6.1 innings.
EDGE Analysis
Teheran couldn't quite match the excellence of rookie hurler Andrew Abbott, who allowed just one hit over six scoreless innings for the Reds. However, the veteran pitched well in his own right, throwing a season-high 6.1 frames and notching his second straight quality start. Though Teheran has lost two of his three starts on the campaign, he's given up just three earned runs over 17.1 innings for a 1.56 ERA. He isn't striking out many batters, pitched in independent ball last season and hasn't posted a season ERA lower than 3.50 in the majors since 2016, so there's reason to be skeptical about his resurgence. That said, Teheran has had major-league success in the past, so there's a chance he could can maintain fantasy relevance even if his numbers eventually fall back closer to his career norms.

Teheran evened his record at 1-1 after tossing six innings and allowing one unearned run in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Blue Jays. He scattered four hits and failed to strike out a batter while issuing no walks.
EDGE Analysis
Three of the hits Teheran allowed went for extra bases, though one was a run-scoring triple off the bat of Kevin Kiermaier, who hit a soft flyball that was badly misplayed by Brewers outfielder Brian Anderson. Though Teheran hasn't pitched as well his 0.82 ERA and 0.82 WHIP through his first two starts with Milwaukee would indicate, he's been able to find the strike zone consistently and has eschewed hard contact for the most part. He's not making many bats miss, however; he's generated a poor 5.6 percent swinging-strike rate across 162 pitches over his two outings.

Teheran will start Wednesday's game versus the Blue Jays in Toronto, Ben Nicholson-Smith of Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
Teheran will pick up a second straight turn through the Milwaukee rotation after he acquitted himself well in his Brewers debut last Thursday, when he struck out five and gave up one run on four hits and one walk over five innings in a losing effort versus the Giants. The right-hander will draw a tougher test Wednesday on the road, but even if his performance dips a bit, Teheran should have some leash in a Milwaukee rotation that's currently without all of Brandon Woodruff (shoulder), Wade Miley (lat), Eric Lauer (shoulder) and Aaron Ashby (shoulder).

Teheran (0-1) allowed a run on four hits and a walk while striking out five over five innings, taking the loss versus the Giants on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Teheran didn't pitch in affiliated ball during 2022, instead pitching in the Atlantic and Mexican Leagues. He had an uninspiring 5.63 ERA and 1.67 WHIP over 40 innings with Triple-A El Paso as part of the Padres organization before latching on with the Brewers this week. All things considered, this was a positive debut for Teheran, aside from the lack of run support. He threw 54 of 83 pitches for strikes, showing that he can still handle a starter's workload. With Eric Lauer (shoulder), Wade Miley (lat/rib), Brandon Woodruff (shoulder) and Aaron Ashby (shoulder) all out into June at a minimum, Teheran should be an option for multiple starts going forward. He's lined up for a road start in Toronto next week.

Teheran has been confirmed as the Brewers' starter Thursday night against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Teheran ultimately passed his physical after agreeing to a one-year, $1.5 million major-league contract with Milwaukee earlier this week. He'll jump right into the rotation mix, though expectations should be rather low. The 32-year-old right-hander hasn't pitched in a game at the MLB level since 2021, and he was sporting a rough 5.63 ERA through 40 innings (eight starts) this season with the Triple-A affiliate of the Padres prior to opting out of what was a minor-league pact.

Teheran is expected to start for the Brewers on Thursday versus the Giants, barring any issues with his physical Wednesday, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Teheran has agreed to terms on a major-league deal with the Brew Crew, but the contract won't be official under he goes through a medical review. Assuming no red flags arise, he'll make his Brewers debut Thursday as a rotation fill-in while the club battles multiple injuries. Teheran last pitched in the majors in 2021 and held a 5.62 ERA and 45:16 K:BB over 40 innings at the Triple-A level this season.

Teheran signed a one-year contract Tuesday with the Brewers, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Teheran was able to score a guaranteed major-league deal after opting out of his minor-league contract with the Padres on Monday. He had an underwhelming 5.63 ERA and 1.68 WHIP through eight starts this season at Triple-A El Paso, but the Brewers are desperate for healthy arms capable of eating innings and the 32-year-old right-hander might get an immediate opportunity to work out of Milwaukee's rotation.

Teheran opted out of his minor-league contract with the Padres on Monday, Jon Heyman of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Teheran re-signed with the Padres after opting out of his minor-league deal earlier this month, but he seems unlikely to do so after exercising an opt-out clause again. The veteran right-hander holds a 5.62 ERA and 45:16 K:BB over 40 innings with Triple-A El Paso.

Teheran signed a minor-league contract Thursday with the Padres, Jeff Sanders of The San Diego Union-Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Teheran opted out of a previous minor-league agreement with the Padres on Tuesday, but he's back with the organization 48 hours later and could stay right on his normal rotation turn at Triple-A El Paso. The 32-year-old has struggled to a 6.84 ERA, 1.72 WHIP and 29:9 K:BB through 25 innings (five starts) this season in the Pacific Coast League.
