Uribe is expected to leave camp in the next few days to resolve a visa issue, Jesse Sanchez of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Uribe dealt with some visa issues at the end of February, but apparently those issues were not entirely resolved then. He shouldn't miss to much time, and will resume his role at third base upon his return.

Uribe's one-year deal with the Indians is now official, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Uribe had been dealing with some visa issues that had delayed his arrival to Cleveland's camp, but those have apparently been resolved. The 36-year-old will enter spring training as the favorite to take the starting third base job.

Uribe and the Indians are still working through some visa issues which are delaying his arrival to spring training, Jordan Bastian of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Uribe signed a deal last week with the Indians, but it appears he's still having some issues getting back into the United States, which is currently keeping his contract from becoming official. There's also no timetable for when he will arrive in camp. That being said, he should still jump right into the competition for the starting third base job once the issues are resolved.

Uribe has signed with the Indians, pending a physical, Ken Rosenthal of MLB on FOX reports.
EDGE Analysis
This will be the eighth team the 36-year-old veteran will play for since breaking into the MLB with the Rockies in 2001. Uribe isn't ready to hang up the cleats just yet, although his .219/.306/.430 line suggests he is well on the decline. He will compete for playing time at third base with Giovanny Urshela and Lonnie Chisenhall.

Uribe (chest) is on the Mets' World Series roster, ESPN's Adam Rubin reports.
EDGE Analysis
This will be Uribe's first opportunity on the Mets' postseason roster as the veteran had been kept out of the previous two series due to a chest injury. Matt Reynolds, the de-facto backup shortstop after Ruben Tejada broke his leg during the NLDS, will lose his spot on the roster in place of Uribe. It's unlikely the 36-year-old, who is one of the only players on the roster to have any World Series experience, will get any starts against the Royals in the series, but he could be a valuable pinch-hitter if called upon.

Uribe (chest), injured September 20 and out since September 25, took batting practice Saturday and will travel with the Mets to Kansas City, The Record reports.
EDGE Analysis
Uribe, one of the few Mets with World Series experience, reportedly looked great during batting practice. If he is on the team's 25-man roster, it likely will come at the expense of Kirk Nieuwenhuis.

Uribe (chest) is not ready to play and will not be on the team's NLCS roster, Adam Rubin of ESPN New York reports.
EDGE Analysis
Uribe has not yet progressed to taking batting practice or any other baseball activities, so his exclusion from the roster does not come as much of a surprise. With just two pinch-hit appearances since Sept. 20 representing all of his playing time in that span, Uribe likely would not be on the World Series roster should the Mets advance that far.

Uribe (chest) has not resumed baseball activities, ESPN's Adam Rubin reports.
EDGE Analysis
Uribe has made just two pinch-hit appearances since Sept. 20 and it seems apparent that his injury hasn't made much improvement. It seems likely he will be withheld from the roster if the Mets advance to the NLCS.

Uribe (chest/ribs) has been ruled out of the NLDS, Jared Diamond of The Wall Street Journal reports.
EDGE Analysis
This designation seemed likely considering Uribe hasn't been able to play much since suffering a chest injury diving for a ball Sept. 20. He hasn't been ruled out for future rounds if the Mets move on, however it's unlikely the 36-year-old will be used as anything more than a pinch-hitter at this point in the season.

Uribe (chest/ribs) is considered "very iffy" for the Mets' divisional series against the Dodgers, ESPN New York reports.
EDGE Analysis
Uribe first suffered damage to cartilage in his chest two weeks ago while diving for a grounder. He then aggravated the injury during a pinch-hitting appearance in Cincinnati Sept. 25. Uribe is still unable to do any baseball activity and is likely to be left off the roster unless he shows material improvement the next few days.
