Hamilton is not in the lineup for Sunday's game against the Padres, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. Hamilton has struggled since returning from the DL at the end of June, going just 5-for-27 with one RBI and one walk. His absence from the lineup allows both Leonys Martin and Delino DeShields to start in the outfield.

Hamilton (groin) is back in the lineup for Tuesday's game against the Diamondbacks, John Blake of the Rangers' official site reports. Hamilton only missed one game, taking advantage of an off day to get some extra rest, though the Rangers may still limit his playing time until the All-Star break. He has four hits in 11 at-bats since returning from a four-week absence caused by a hamstring injury.

Hamilton (groin) isn't expected to require a DL stint, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. Texas plays just five games this week, with off days on Monday and Thursday, so Hamilton figures to see pretty limited at-bats for the final week before the All-Star break.

Hamilton (groin) isn't in the lineup Sunday against the Angels, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. Hamilton was pulled late in Friday's series opener due to the groin strain, and will now miss his second straight game as a result of the injury. The Rangers have resisted shuttling Hamilton back to the DL despite activating Delino DeShields earlier Sunday, but if the issue should persist further into the coming week, another shutdown for Hamilton is possible.

Hamilton is out of the lineup Saturday against the Angels, John Blake of the Rangers' official site reports. Since his activation from the DL on Tuesday, Hamilton has tallied a hit in each of his three appearances, batting .364 (4-for-11) with one double and one run scored. He'll head to the bench as Ryan Rua covers left field and bats second in the order.

Hamilton is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Orioles, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. Hamilton will receive a day off just a day after returning from an extended run on the disabled list. While there's no indication that the hamstring issue flared up, it's a bit of a curious situation. Ryan Rua will start in left field in his place, and he'll bat sixth for the Rangers on Wednesday.

Hamilton went 2-for-4 with a run and a strikeout in Tuesday's game against the Orioles. It was a nice return for Hamilton, who was making his first start since being activated from the DL earlier that day. He should continue to start in left field on most days for Texas going forward as long as the hamstring issue does not pop back up.

Hamilton (hamstring) was activated from the disabled list Tuesday, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Jeff Wilson reports. Hamilton will bat fifth and start in left field, facing Miguel Gonzalez and the Orioles at Camden Yards. Hamilton didn't do much damage during his rehab assignment, but he got off to a nice start with the Rangers earlier this season. He figures to see consistent playing time in left field.

Hamilton (hamstring) will likely be activated from the disabled list either Monday or Tuesday, Jon Morosi of FOX Sports reports. Hamilton made his fourth rehab appearance Sunday, going 0-for-2 with Triple-A Round Rock. He has just three singles in 12 at-bats during the assignment, but he's apparently done enough to prove his health. The Rangers have a four-game series at Camden Yards this week, starting with Monday's favorable matchup against right-hander Bud Norris.
