Hamilton (hamstring) went 1-for-3 with a double and a walk in his first rehab game Wednesday at Double-A Frisco, The Dallas Morning News reports. Hamilton is scheduled to join the Rangers' Triple-A affiliate at Round Rock on Thursday and play with them through the weekend. That said, Hamilton served as the DH on Wednesday and will need to test the hamstring in the field before being activated from the disabled list. Provided the hamstring feels fine on Thursday, he should have the green light to play through the weekend at Round Rock.

Hamilton (hamstring) will begin a rehab assignment Wednesday at Double-A Frisco, Anthony Andro of Fox Sports Southwest reports. Hamilton began participating in full baseball activities at the end of last week, and his rehab stint is not expected to extend beyond five or six days. The tentative plan is for Hamilton to join the team in Baltimore and be activated prior to Monday's game. There's a chance he could return earlier, but the team is apparently wary of allowing him to play on the turf in Toronto, where the Rangers play Friday through Sunday.

Hamilton (hamstring) has participated in full baseball activities at Triple-A Round Rock over the last two days and could begin a rehab assignment next week, Jeff Wilson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. Hamilton appears to be slightly ahead of schedule in his rehab, and there is still an outside chance he could be back with the team before the calendar turns to July.

Hamilton (hamstring) could take live batting practice by the end of the week, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports. It's still early, but Hamilton appears to be about a week ahead of the original rehab schedule. A late June return can't be ruled out.

Hamilton (hamstring) was placed on the 15-day disabled list Thursday, Rangers VP of Comm. John Blake reports. Hamilton is expected to miss four weeks, making a stint on the disabled list inevitable. His absence will leave Delino DeSheields as the regular starter in left field, with Jake Smolinski and Leonys Martin also potentially benefiting from extra at-bats.

Hamilton (hamstring) is expected to miss four weeks, Anthony Andro of Fox Sports Southwest reports. Hamilton felt a grab in his hamstring during Sunday's walkoff double against the Red Sox. Delino DeShields Jr. got the start Wednesday in place of Hamilton and this injury should secure his playing time for the weeks ahead, though Jake Smolisnki could also see extra reps with the Rangers in Hamilton's absence.

Hamilton (hamstring) is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox, according to MLB.com's T.R. Sullivan. Hamilton will be held out again Wednesday due to the hamstring injury he suffered in Sunday's game. The extent of his setback is uncertain, but expect his status to be updated daily until something more concrete becomes available.

Hamilton, who is not in Tuesday's lineup against the White Sox, said he felt something grab in his hamstring during Sunday's walk-off double against the Red Sox, Anthony Andro of FOX Sports Southwest reports. This confirms that Sunday's absence from the lineup was not caused by an injury, but it's still somewhat worrisome for owners that a day off didn't provide enough time for Hamilton to recover. If Hamilton misses time beyond Tuesday, his absence will leave more at-bats for Delino DeShields Jr. and Leonys Martin, the two of whom have been splitting time in center field.

Hamilton is out of the lineup for Tuesday's game against the White Sox due to tightness in the lower half of his body, Anthony Andro of FOX Sports Southwest reports. Hamilton was also held out of the lineup Sunday against the Red Sox, only to smack a pinch-hit, walk-off double in the ninth inning. It's unclear whether the issue caused his absence Sunday, as it may be the case that he was just getting the day off, but is now dealing with an injury. Should Hamilton miss time beyond Tuesday, Delino DeShields Jr. is the primary candidate to benefit, which would also leave some extra at-bats for Leonys Martin. Both are in Tuesday's lineup.
