Manager Robin Ventura said Rollins was supposed to start Wednesday, but he went with Tyler Saladino instead, the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rollins has served as the team's starting shortstop in 33 of the White Sox's 54 games, but he has begun to see his hold slip of late. Saladnio started four of the team's last five games and Rollins just concluded a month in which he posted a sub-.600 OPS. Of course, the battle between Rollins and Saladino may be moot if Tim Anderson gets the call.

Rollins is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Rollins will sit out in favor of Tyler Saladino, who will bat seventh and get a second consecutive start at shortstop. Rollins sat out yesterday in order to pack the lineup with right-handed batters, but today, he will rest due to Saladino playing very well on Tuesday. Saladino went 2-for-2 with one homerun, two RBI, and two walks drawn.

Rollins is out of the lineup for Tuesday's matchup with the Mets, Colleen Kane of the Chicago Tribune reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rollins will sit out while Tyler Saladino will get the start at shortstop and bat seventh. This move is likely to pack the lineup with right-handers against lefty starter Steven Matz. Rollins, a veteran, is slashing an uninspired .226/.282/.336 in 2016.

Rollins is out of the lineup Sunday against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Rollins will give way to Tyler Saladino for the second straight game, as manager Robin Ventura looks to extract some more offense from the shortstop spot. While Rollins and Saladino are both rocking sub-.300 on-base percentages for the season, Saladino at least turned in a productive game Saturday, going 2-for-4 with a homer and three RBI. Ventura will likely end up settling on a primary option at the position based on which player happens to be hotter at the plate.

EDGE Analysis
Rollins will get the day off as the Sox go with Tyler Saladino at shortstop Saturday. Saladino will serve as the No. 9 hitter against the Royals' Yordano Ventura.

Rollins is not in the lineup for Game 2 against the Indians on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Rollins will give way to Avisail Garcia on Monday night as Chicago's designated hitter so that Rollins limits his workload at age 37.

Rollins is out of the lineup for Friday's game against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Despite having excellent career numbers against Kansas City starter Dillon Gee (4-14, 2 HR), Rollins will sit out for Friday's series opener. Tyler Saladino will take Rollins' place at shortstop and bat ninth in the order against Gee.

Rollins is out of the lineup Sunday against the Yankees, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Rollins has begun to heat up a little bit with six hits in his last five games, but he'll still conceding about two starts a week to Tyler Saladino. That's likely just a measure to keep the 37-year-old fresh over the course of the season, as he still remains the top shortstop on the White Sox's depth chart.

Rollins was 1-for-5 with a two-run home run in the White Sox' win over the Yankees on Friday night.
EDGE Analysis
he has been a solid addition to the White Sox roster this season, helping shore up their infield defense while chipping in some timely hits. He now has two homers and seven RBI while adding three stolen bases on the season. Unfortunately, at age 37 he requires more frequent days off which somewhat limits his fantasy value to deep or AL-only leagues.

Rollins is out of the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Rangers.
EDGE Analysis
Rollins will get the day off for Wednesday's early afternoon contest as Tyler Saladino is set to take over at short and bat ninth in the order. He'll get an added rest day with Thursday's travel day, so look for Rollins to rejoin the lineup Friday against the Yankees.
