Jim Henderson blew his first save since June 30 on Saturday in the Brewers' loss to the Angels. It was a rare bad outing for Henderson, who gave up a two-out pinch-hit double to Josh Hamilton and a go-ahead two-run homer to Hank Conger. Henderson still has an exceptional 2.15 ERA in 50 1/3 innings this season and should remain the Brewers' closer as they limp to the finish line.

Jim Henderson slammed the door on the Reds in the ninth inning on Friday, preserving a two-run lead and earning his 20th save of the season. Henderson usurped the closer's role from John Axford early in the season, and aside from a lengthy stint on the disabled list, hasn't given any indication that he can't handle the role. He's compiled a 1.71 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and 57/20 K/BB ratio in 47 1/3 innings.

Jim Henderson earned his 15th save by tossing a perfect ninth inning against the Nationals on Sunday. Henderson, who moved back into the closer's role after Francisco Rodriguez was shipped to Baltimore, hasn't allowed a run over his last nine appearances. The hard-thrower has also struck out at least one batter in eight consecutive outings. Henderson's fantasy value is diminished a bit by pitching for the awful Brewers, but he has done his part with a 1.94 ERA and 1.08 WHIP.

Jim Henderson is likely to move back into the closer role for the Brewers following the trade of Francisco Rodriguez. It's possible John Axford will be in the mix for save chances, as well, but Henderson has been pitching the eighth inning in front of K-Rod. He also fared well in the closer role earlier this season but losing the job following an injury. Scoop him up now if he's on your waiver wire.

Jim Henderson tossed a scoreless inning Friday against the Braves for his first save since coming off the disabled list. Henderson made things interesting by issuing two walks, but didn't give up a hit and struck out Dan Uggla swinging to end it. Francisco Rodriguez is currently sitting on 299 career saves and the Brewers appear determined to get him to the 300 plateau at some point, but he pitched the eighth inning in Friday's win. Either way, Henderson is the pitcher to own in this bullpen.
