Gyorko went 2-for-4 with a two-run home run and a second run scored in Tuesday's 6-4 win over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran infielder got the start at first base in this one, and he wound up being the hero for Milwaukee after he lifted a Taylor Rogers fastball over the wall in center field in the eighth inning to complete the comeback from an early 4-1 deficit. Gyorko isn't seeing everyday at-bats but he's had fantasy value in deeper formats, posting a .286/.348/.619 slash line with two homers and five RBI through 10 games.

Gyorko went 2-for-3 with a two-run home run and an additional RBI in Thursday's win over the White Sox.
EDGE Analysis
Gyorko started the season 2-for-12 in his first six games, but he went deep for the first time this season while also recording his first multi-hit effort of the campaign. He is now hitting .267 through his first 15 at-bats.

Gyorko will open the season on the Brewers' 30-man roster.
EDGE Analysis
Gyorko was on track to land a roster spot before spring training was paused, and he ultimately ended up doing just that. He is in line to open the season in a third-base platoon with Eric Sogard and could see spot action at a couple other spots as well.

Gyorko remains on track to open the season in a third-base platoon with Eric Sogard, according to Will Sammon of The Athletic.
EDGE Analysis
Injuries limited Gyorko to 62 games last season and contributed to him finishing the campaign with a lowly .498 OPS. According to the report, "Gyorko said he is as healthy as he's been and feels like he has plenty left," and the Brewers will give him a chance to prove that, at least in some capacity. Gyorko possesses the defensive versatility the Brewers seek in their part-time players, but the club does have several other players capable of filling his role, so his hold on a roster spot will be somewhat tenuous.

Gyorko appears on track to open the season in a third-base platoon with Eric Sogard, according to Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
EDGE Analysis
Gyorko struggled at the plate to close out the 2019 season with the Dodgers, hitting just .139/.205/.167 with 10 strikeouts across 39 plate appearances after returning from an assortment of wrist, calf and back injuries. The 31-year-old is fully healthy heading in to spring training with the Brewers and is expected to serve in a platoon role alongside Eric Sogard at third base. The right-handed hitting veteran could potentially serve as a backup option at first base as well and will be competing with fellow offseason signings Ryon Healy and Brock Holt for at-bats as the season approaches.

Gyorko signed with the Brewers on Friday, Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The financial terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed. The veteran battled multiple injuries last season and wound up struggling through 101 plate appearances with the Cardinals and Dodgers, hitting just .174/.248/.250. With a career wRC+ of exactly 100 and the ability to fill in all around the infield, Gyorko should be a useful part-time player if he's able to return to full health.

The Dodgers declined Gyorko's $13 million club option for 2020 on Sunday, Eric Stephen of TrueBlueLA.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gyorko was acquired by the Dodgers from the Cardinals ahead of July's trade deadline but had only 39 plate appearances in 24 games with Los Angeles, so it's no surprise to see the team is moving on given the $13 million figure. Overall it was pretty much a lost season for the veteran infielder, as he spent much of 2019 on the injured list and struggled with a .174/.248/.250 slash line in 62 games when healthy.

Gyorko (wrist) was activated from the 10-day injured list prior to Sunday's game in Atlanta. He is starting at first base and hitting fifth against lefty Max Fried.
EDGE Analysis
Gyorko should work in the short side of a platoon with the big club, also offering right-handed pop off the bench.

Gyorko (wrist) will be activated from the injured list and start at first base Sunday against the Braves, Jorge Castillo of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gyorko is ready to make his Dodgers debut after completing a nine-game rehab stint between Double-A and Triple-A, during which he hit .333 with two homers in 27 at-bats. He will take over at first base with a lefty (Max Fried) due up for Atlanta in the final game of the series. Most of Gyorko's starting opportunities will come against southpaws.

Manager Dave Roberts said Friday that he expects Gyorko's (back/hamstring/hand) rehab assignment at Triple-A Oklahoma City to last around a week before the Dodgers consider reinstating him from the 60-day injured list, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Gyorko has been on the shelf since early June while tending to an assortment of injuries, but he was cleared to resume game action at the minor-league level shortly after being acquired from the Cardinals on July 31. After appearing in two games for Double-A Tulsa, Gyorko began his rehab assignment at Triple-A on Aug. 7 and has suited up in four contests, going 3-for-10 with a home run and three walks. Based on Roberts' comments, it sounds like Gyorko could realistically make his Dodgers debut as soon as this weekend. The 31-year-old will be deployed as a utility infielder whenever he ends up joining the big club.
