Bruce is out of the lineup for Sunday's game against the Blue Jays.
EDGE Analysis
Bruce returned from the 10-day injured list Friday and filled a starting role in the Phillies' last two games, going 1-for-7 with a double and a walk. Though he'll take a seat Sunday, Bruce should have a regular spot in the lineup waiting for him against right-handers during the final week of the season.

Bruce (quadriceps) was activated off the 10-day injured list Friday, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 33-year-old aggravated his quadriceps injury Sept. 6 and has since been on the injured list, but he'll rejoin the roster for Friday's doubleheader. Bruce isn't in the lineup for the matinee but could return to the starting nine in Game 2.

Phillies manager Joe Girardi said Wednesday that Bruce (quadriceps) is still a couple days away from a return from the 10-day injured list, Matt Breen of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Kyle Garlick (oblique) and starting pitcher Jake Arrieta (hamstring) joining a growing list of banged-up Phillies on Tuesday, Bruce's impending return is a rare bit of positive injury news for the team. If Bruce gains clearance to play at some point during the Phillies' weekend series with the Blue Jays, he should immediately step back into a strong-side platoon role at designated hitter. He could also be in the mix for work at first base with Rhys Hoskins (elbow) in danger of missing the remainder of the season.

EDGE Analysis
Bruce exited Saturday's contest after aggravating his quad injury and finds himself back on the injured list. With Roman Quinn also sidelined (concussion), Kyle Garlick and Phil Gosselin could get some extra run in the outfield.

Bruce (quadriceps) is out of the lineup Sunday against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Bruce is reportedly a candidate to hit the injured list after aggravating a quad injury that cost him several games in late August. While that move has yet to be official, he remains out of the lineup. Neil Walker takes over designated hitter duties and is batting eighth.

EDGE Analysis
Bruce missed 10 days in late August with a quad injury, and it looks like he is going to miss at least that much time again for the same reason.

Bruce went 1-for-4 with a solo home run Wednesday as he helped the Phillies to a 3-0 win over the Nationals on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Bruce launched his second homer in three games as he has shown some solid power since returning from the 10-day injured list Monday. The 33-year-old has six long balls and 13 RBI and should continue to see the majority of his playing time as the team's designated hitter.

Bruce (quadriceps) was activated from the 10-day injured list prior to Monday's game against the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
