Grilli took the loss after issuing a walk and a two-run homer Tuesday against Baltimore.
EDGE Analysis
Grilli lost his 13-inning scoreless streak when he gave up a tie-breaking longball to Orioles' catcher Matt Wieters. The 39-year-old setup man was tied for the fourth-longest active scoreless streak in the majors before disaster struck in the eighth inning Tuesday. Grilli has been rock solid since joining the team June 1, and this rare slip up shouldn't change his fantasy value moving forward.

Grilli allowed a walk and struck out one in a scoreless ninth inning in Thursday's loss to the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Manager John Gibbons got Grilli some action after the right-hander hadn't pitched in five days. Since debuting with the Jays on June 1, Grilli has three wins, two saves and 13 holds while posting a career-best 1.52 ERA and 0.81 WHIP over 31 appearances (29.2 innings).

Grilli allowed a hit and struck out the side Saturday against the Astros to pick up his 11th hold since becoming a Blue Jay.
EDGE Analysis
Since joining Jays on June 1, Grilli owns a 1.82 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and a 36:8 K:BB. The veteran has managed to log three wins, two saves and 11 holds in his 26 appearances (24.2 innings) over that span. As a setup man, Grilli has been about as good as they come.

Grilli threw a clean ninth inning for his second save Tuesday against the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Roberto Osuna had thrown two games in a row and three in the past four games, so the Jays rewarded the red-hot Grilli with the save chance. Grilli's ERA with the Blue Jays is now down to 2.18 to go with a sharp 31:8 K:BB in 20.2 innings as he has established himself as the number two in Toronto's bullpen.

Grilli stuck out one in a clean eighth inning Sunday to notch his sixth hold as the team's setup man.
EDGE Analysis
Grilli also earned a pair of holds with Atlanta earlier this season before being acquired by Toronto, giving him eight total on the year. The move north of the border has suited the veteran right-hander well. He's already earned three wins in 18 appearances, tying the second-most victories Grilli has ever had in his previous 13 seasons. The 39-year-old has cemented himself into one of the more useful eight-inning jobs in MLB, and owns a 2.16 ERA and 1.02 WHIP in 16.2 innings as a Jay, both of which are career bests.

Since being traded from Atlanta to Toronto on May 31, Grilli has posted a 2.63 ERA, 1.17 WHIP with a 23:6 K:BB through 13.2 innings (15 appearances).
EDGE Analysis
The veteran came on-board and immediately took the role that Drew Storen was unable to fill. He's yet to blow a save as the team's eighth-inning man, earning four holds while adding two wins and one save to his resume with the Jays. He's been flat out dominant for the most part, and Grilli is next in line to assume the closer role should Roberto Osuna struggle at any point during the second half.

Grilli walked a batter and struck out one in the eighth inning of Thursday's game versus Detroit.
EDGE Analysis
After a rough patch in the second half of June, Grilli appears to be back on track. He's now made four consecutive scoreless appearances (four innings) while allowing just one hit and striking out eight during that stretch.

Grilli struck out two in a clean eighth inning to notch the victory in Saturday's game against the Indians.
EDGE Analysis
Grilli entered with the game tied at six, breezed through his inning by throwing 11 of 13 pitches for strikes, then sat back and watched the Jays' offense score three in the bottom of the frame to give the veteran his first victory as a member of the team. Since being acquired from the Braves at the end of May, Grilli has be flawless, earning four holds, one save and now a win while posting a 2.31 ERA and 21:5 K:BB in 11.2 innings (13 appearances).

The Jays are planning to manage closer Roberto Osuna's innings moving forward, and as a result, Grilli is likely to pick up more save chances, Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
The club believes Osuna was overworked in late May and early June, and want to closely monitor his situation moving forward. Recently, Osuna was given a much-needed week of rest, and Grilli was the one called on when the only save opportunity of the week arrived.

Grilli gave up a run on one hit and two walks in the ninth inning Sunday, striking out two, to pick up his first save as a Blue Jay.
EDGE Analysis
After loading the bases with one out, Grilli gave up a sac fly to Pedro Alvarez before striking out Jonathan Schoop to escape the jam. There's been no word on why Grilli got the nod in the ninth instead of Roberto Osuna, but the veteran isn't going to be a threat to get more save chances with shaky appearances like this.
