Jake Westbrook tossed six scoreless innings but was left with a no-decision Saturday against the Pirates. Cardinals manager Mike Matheny curiously decided to pull Westbrook after just 91 pitches. And reliever Joe Kelly lost the 2-0 St. Louis lead in the very next frame. Westbrook owns an outstanding 0.98 ERA in 27 2/3 innings this season but he's prone to blowups and isn't a great fantasy option outside of NL-only leagues.

We don't suggest racing out to pick up Westbrook in mixed leagues.

The veteran righty hasn't appeared in a game since straining his oblique during a September 8 start.
