Street is expected to undergo season-ending knee surgery, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Angels have yet to officially say that Street will need surgery, but an announcement is expected in the coming days. If Street does have the surgery, the team expects that he'd be ready for the 2017 campaign. Street's performance for the 2016 season was disappointing to say the least, as he posted a 6.45 ERA and 1.93 WHIP over 22.1 innings.

Street is seeking a second opinion on his injured knee and may undergo season-ending surgery, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Street resumed throwing last week, but it appears his knee is not responding as hoped, and he may have to go under the knife. Expect the Angels to release an update on Street's status after his upcoming trip to the doctor.

Street (knee) has resumed throwing at the Angels' spring training facility in Arizona, Jeff Fletcher of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Street is scheduled to rejoin the Angels on Monday, at which point he'll be evaluated by team doctors. If the Angels determine Street has made enough progress in his recovery from inflammation in his right knee, the reliever could be cleared to throw off a found and face hitters in the next few days.

An MRI on Street's right knee showed inflammation but no structural damage. He received a cortisone injection to help calm the inflammation after being placed on the 15-day DL on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Cam Bedrosian, owner of a 0.90 ERA and 0.98 WHIP, took over the closer duties for Street and promptly struck out the side Tuesday to earn his first save. It is good to know that Street's injury is not more serious than initially believed, but he is still without a timetable to return, and Bedrosian appears to be well on his way to staking a permanent claim to the job.

Street (knee) was placed on the 15-day DL on Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
Street is suffering from right knee inflammation, and will land on the disabled list for the second time this season after dealing with an oblique injury in May. In his place, Cam Bedrosian will likely assume the closing duties while Street is recovering. This comes days after manager Mike Scioscia gave Street a vote of confidence after blowing his third save in 12 opportunities Sunday. Street had been having a rough year, and this injury could give him a chance to clear his head before he rejoins the team.

Street received a vote of confidence from manager Mike Scioscia, who stated he isn't considering removing Street from the closer's role, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Street has been awful this year, as he blew his third save in 12 opportunities Sunday and saw his ERA jump to 6.45 after he surrendered five runs on four hits, including two homers, in a loss to the Red Sox. Cam Bedrosian owns a 0.92 ERA in 43 relief appearances and would make sense as the replacement should Street lose his job, but Scioscia's comments suggest Street will hold onto the role for at least a little while longer.

Street picked up his eighth save as he worked around a hit for a scoreless ninth inning Tuesday against Texas.
EDGE Analysis
This was Street's first appearance since leaving with a hamstring injury July 10 against Baltimore. It was well-timed with the All-Star break, as he showed no lingering symptoms. This was Street's first save opportunity since June 21, and with a 4.82 ERA, it's hard to count on Street for consistent saves even when the Angels are winning games.

Street left the game on Sunday after being examined by the team trainer twice, Roch Kubatko of MASNsports.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The injury is a bit of an unknown at this point, but it looks to be an injury in the groin area. Street was not happy after being pulled out of the game.

Street allowed four hits and three runs at the end of Wednesday's 10-4 loss to Houston. He retired just two batters.
EDGE Analysis
Street's ratios are nightmarish in 2016 (5.28 ERA, 1.89 WHIP), though they cover a modest 15.1 innings. Most alarmingly, he's walked more batters than he's struck out. The Angels have a multitude of problems on the current roster, but Street's struggles at age 32 have to be considered. With Joe Smith currently on the disabled list, Cam Bedrosian is likely the next man up in the closing chair if Street needs a break down the road.

Street (3-1) pitched a scoreless ninth inning while allowing one hit and striking out one to earn the win Sunday against the Athletics.
EDGE Analysis
Street came into a tie game and after holding down the Athletics, the Angels came up with a run in the bottom of the ninth to get him his third win of the year. After blowing saves in two of three outings, he now has held opponents scoreless in his last two games to move his ERA to 3.68.
