The veteran right-hander has allowed 10 earned runs in 11 innings over his last two starts, increasing his ERA from 2.33 to 2.71. The Yankees and fantasy owners will have to hope for a return to form next week against the Blue Jays.

The right-hander has always been good, but he's having a true breakout summer at the age of 38. The Rangers are up next.

Unfortunately for Kuroda's fantasy owners, they lost out on a win after Mariano Rivera suffered a rare blown save. Kuroda was pulled after throwing just 88 pitches, as the Yankees likely wanted to take it easy on him in his first start back from a sore hip flexor. Kuroda's final start before the All-Star break will come at home against the Twins.

Hiroki Kuroda will start Sunday against the Orioles. Kuroda was scratched from his start Friday with a hip flexor injury, but was cleared to return after making it through a bullpen session without any issues. Phil Hughes will pitch on six days rest and be pushed back to Monday.
