O'Flaherty, who underwent a surgical procedure to alleviate elbow tension in the offseason, has thrown three scoreless innings so far in spring.
EDGE Analysis
This is good news for O'Flaherty, who was plagued by multiple injuries during the 2016 season, leading to an unimpressive 6.91 ERA across 28.2 innings before being shut down. The 31-year-old likely won't provide much of an impact in 2017.

O'Flaherty signed a minor league contract with the Braves on Tuesday, David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
O'Flaherty posted a 6.91 ERA (4.33 FIP) over 28.2 innings of relief with the Braves in 2016 before he was ultimately shut down with elbow neuritis. He underwent surgery in early September and is expected to start throwing next week. At 31 years old and coming off of an injury-plagued season, it seems unlikely that the lefty reliever will provide much of an impact in 2017.

O'Flaherty won't be able to throw for at least two months after having a surgical procedure to alleviate elbow tension, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports.
EDGE Analysis
O'Flaherty underwent an ulnar nerve decompression. He'll likely be ready for spring training, but we'll need to monitor his progress this winter.

O'Flaherty (elbow) was transferred to the 60-day disabled list on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
Considering he last pitched on Aug. 17, he will be unable to return this season. The elbow neuritis that originally sidelined him could impact his offseason training, and it remains to be seen if he will be ready to go for spring training.

The Braves placed O'Flaherty on the 15-day disabled list Friday with left elbow neuritis.
EDGE Analysis
O'Flaherty was able to pitch three times this week, but he apparently picked up the elbow injury somewhere along the way. It remains to be seen how long he will be out, but if it turns out he is dealing with more than just soreness, the Braves could opt to shut him down for the season.

O'Flaherty surrendered two runs (both earned) on two hits, a hit-by-pitch and two walks over an inning of relief in Saturday's 9-5 loss to the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
In five appearances since returning from the DL on July 15 with a knee injury, O'Flaherty has posted a 8.78 ERA over 4.1 innings of work. There was a four-year stretch (2010-2014) when O'Flaherty was considered one of the top left-handed relievers in the game, posting a 1.91 ERA across 192.3 innings, but those days appear to be far behind the 31-year-old.

O'Flaherty was activated from the 15-day DL on Saturday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
O'Flaherty pitched well during his rehab assignment, surrendering only one earned run over six innings while punching out eight batters. The 31-year-old will look to keep it up as he's largely disappointed this season in the majors, compiling a 6.52 ERA and 1.55 WHIP over 27 appearances. Arodys Vizcaino is expected to be sent down to make room for O'Flaherty on the roster.

O'Flaherty (knee) could return to the Braves as soon as Monday, David O'Brien of the AJC reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran reliever will reportedly make a pair of rehab appearances this weekend and if all goes well, he'll come off the DL as soon as Monday. Once O'Flaherty returns, he'll provide another left-handed option out of the Braves' bullpen.

O'Flaherty (knee) has given up one earned run over five innings for the GCL Braves and Single-A Braves during his rehab assignment.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old has been sidelined since June 13 with a strained knee and although it's unclear if he'll get called up immediately following the All-Star Break, he'll likely return to the majors well before July ends.

EDGE Analysis
Ryan Weber will be called up from Triple-A Gwinnett to take O'Flaherty's spot in the bullpen. The 31-year-old has struggled all season, posting a 6.52 ERA and 1.55 WHIP in 27 relief appearances.
