Jennings does not believe his left hamstring issue will cause him to miss an extended period of time, Rays beat writer Roger Mooney reports.
EDGE Analysis
The speedy outfielder left Thursday's game with a tight left hamstring, but fortunately it does not sound as though it's anything serious. That said, manager Kevin Cash could opt to give Jennings the day off Friday in order to give his hamstring some additional down time. Should Jennings be held out Friday, Brandon Guyer would likely slide over to center field while Corey Dickerson or Oswaldo Arcia could draw a start in left.

Jennings left Thursday's game in the third inning with left hamstring tightness.
EDGE Analysis
He has been relatively luck on the injury front throughout the first half of the season, but Jennings grabbed at his hamstring after rounding first base Thursday and his status for the days ahead is uncertain. Nick Franklin, who pinch hit for Jennings in the bottom of the third, took over in right field in the top of the fourth pushing Brandon Guyer to center.

Jennings left Thursday's game against the Tigers in the third inning with an apparent leg injury, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Although Jennings was able to stay in the game initially after appearing to tweak something on his second-inning double, he was ultimately lifted prior to his second plate appearance. Nick Franklin, pinch-hitting for Jennings, drove in three runs on a bloop double. Jennings' status for Friday's game is uncertain.

Jennings reached the Mendoza Line for just the second time since April 26 with a 1-for-4 performance in Monday's 13-7 victory over the Red Sox that consisted of a solo homer.
EDGE Analysis
While his .258/.364/.500 June line isn't otherworldly, it certainly represents a significant improvement for Jennings, who entered the month hitting .168. He got back to .200 for the second time in June with Monday's effort, and extended his modest hitting streak to three games. The 29-year-old also has four homers during the month, including one in each of the last two contests.

Jennings, who tallied his second multi-hit game of June with a 2-for-4 performance in Sunday's loss to the Giants, is enjoying his best month of the season overall.
EDGE Analysis
The oft-injured outfielder, who's been able to log 162 at-bats to date in 2016, has finally begun showing signs of breaking out of a season-long slump during June. Following Sunday's production, Jennings is now slashing .256/.360/.419 over 43 at-bats this month, along with two homers and five RBI. While his average still remains below the Mendoza Line at .191, it nevertheless represents a 23-point improvement over the figure he carried on May 30.

Jennings (quadriceps) is back in the lineup Tuesday against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Jennings had to be lifted early from Sunday's contest after experiencing some quad tightness, but the ailment was apparently minor enough that he could return without missing a game. He'll patrol center field and bat eighth against Seattle starter Taijuan Walker.

Jennings left Sunday's game due to quad tightness, freelance Tampa Bay writer Roger Mooney reports.
EDGE Analysis
The oft-injured Jennings was replaced late in the game due to undisclosed reasons, but it now appears that the Rays have added some clarity to the situation. With a team day off Monday before the team hosts a three-game series against the Mariners, it made sense to take a conservative approach here. Jennings was 1-for-3 with a RBI prior to exiting.

Jennings broke out of a season-long slump during the just-concluded three-game series versus the D-backs, Marc Topkin of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old entered the three-game set hitting .171, but went 5-for-11 with two homers and three RBI over the series. He also turned in a number of strong defensive plays, much to the delight of his boss. "He broke out," manager Kevin Cash said. "He carried us in a lot of ways this series, for sure. We saw that electric player that we know is there. And good for him for doing it." Jennings had gone 8-for-70 with two homers and six RBI during the previous 27 games, and there was speculation that he could see a demotion to Triple-A Durham if his struggles persisted much longer. Although the recent success certainly earns him a momentary respite, Jennings will need to continue building on his performance to keep his grasp on a spot with the big league club secure.

Jennings went 3-for-4 with a home run, a walk, two runs scored and two RBI in Monday's win over the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Mike Mahtook has been taking time in center field from Jennings, and Jennings will need to respond with more performances like this if he wants to keep his job. He still has a brutal season line of .189/.257/.315, though, and what little power he showed earlier in his career has all but disappeared in the past two seasons. He has just four home runs in 70 games since 2015 and hasn't slugged over .400 since 2013.
