Haren spun six innings of one-run ball Tuesday against the Red Sox, but was left without a decision as the bullpen could not hold a 3-1 lead. Haren logged his 12th quality start of the season, allowing six hits and one walk with five strikeouts on the evening and exited in position to win the game before the bullpen and some shoddy defense let the victory slip away. He's been a consistent asset for the Marlins and now owns a rock solid 3.34 ERA and 1.06 WHIP to go along with 76:19 K:BB ratio over 105 innings pitched. The veteran righty will take the hill next Sunday at home against Cincinnati.

Haren allowed 10 hits and four runs -- three earned -- in 5.2 innings Wednesday against the Giants. He struck out one and walked none in the no-decision. Haren fared better at the plate, crossing up the Giants in the Marlins' three-run inning when he faked a bunt on a 2-2 pitch and instead swung and singled past the first baseman to drive in a run. Despite giving up 10 hits, Haren broke his streak of three consecutive losses and still maintains a respectable 3.45 ERA and 1.05 WHIP for the season. His next scheduled start will be Tuesday at Boston.

Haren (6-5) allowed four runs on seven hits in six plus innings Thursday against the Cardinals. He struck out six in the loss. Haren has now lost three straight starts but still maintains a solid 3.38 ERA and 1.01 WHIP for the season. The 34-year-old broke his three-game streak of quality starts and he'll look to bounce back in his next scheduled start Wednesday against the Giants.

Haren allowed two runs on four hits, walking two and striking out six over 6.1 innings of a 5-0 loss to the Reds on Friday night. Haren (6-4, 3.19 ERA) now has quality starts and tough-luck losses in his last two outings. He allowed a fourth inning home run to Marlon Byrd, but Steve Cishek gave up a pair of hits after taking over in the seventh inning to allow the second run to come across.

Haren took the loss Sunday, despite logging a quality start, yielding three earned runs over six innings against the Rockies. Haren allowed home runs to Charlie Blackmon and Nolan Arenado in the first inning before settling in, but the damage was done. He finished with five strikeouts and two walks, allowing just three hits on the afternoon. Haren has been rock solid for the Marlins, allowing three runs or fewer in nine of his last 10 starts. He'll carry a 3.22 ERA into his next start Friday in Cincinnati.

Haren allowed two runs on three hits and struck out seven over seven innings in Tuesday's loss to Toronto. Although he exited the game with a 3-2 lead, an Edwin Encarnacion walk-off home run robbed Haren of a win. Over his seven frames, he only ran into trouble in the fourth following a double, single and consecutive sacrifice flies. Haren's fourth quality start in his last five games lowers his ERA to 3.12 as he faces Colorado at home on Sunday.

Haren (6-2) gave up six hits, walked two and hit a batter en route to allowing three runs in 5.2 innings Wednesday against the Cubs, but came away with the win. He was shutting the Cubbies out into the sixth, but opened the door for a three-run rally in that inning and ended up falling short of a quality start. The stat line won't get many fantasy owners' hearts racing -- nor should it -- but Haren has won five his last six decisions in what's been a surprisingly effective season so far. He might run into some trouble his next time out, though, Tuesday against the powerful Blue Jays.

Haren picked up his fifth win of the season Friday over the Mets, tossing seven innings of two-run ball. The veteran right-hander racked up four strikeouts while allowing just four hits and one walk. Outside of a tough outing in Los Angeles in early May, Haren has been fantastic for the Marlins, earning a quality start in three straight outings and five of his last six starts. Haren is now sitting with a 3.03 ERA and 1.04 WHIP to go along with a 43:12 K:BB ratio. He'll look to keep things rolling Wednesday at home against the Cubs.

Haren pitched six scoreless innings Saturday, allowing seven hits and three walks while striking out six in a 1-0 extra-inning win over the Orioles. Haren was lucky not to give up any runs, as he was playing with fire every inning, working in and out of trouble. Nonetheless, for all intents and purposes, Haren has been the ace of the Marlins' injury-riddled staff this season. His next start comes Friday, when he travels to Citi Field to take on the struggling Mets.

Haren pitched well in a no-decision Monday, holding the Diamondbacks to two runs in eight innings. Haren recovered from a six-run blow up in his last start to toss a gem against Arizona. The veteran has been strong this year, allowing more than two runs in a start just twice this year while posting a 3.47 ERA. His next start will come this weekend against the Orioles.
