Haren (10-9) was victorious Tuesday, tossing six innings of four-hit, two-run ball against the Braves. He also fanned seven and walked one. An RBI-double and a solo homer by each of the Upton brothers were the only marks against the 33-year-old righty, who grooved nearly two thirds (62-of-97) of his pitches for strikes. After five straight losses from July 5 to August 1, Haren has been locked in over his last two starts (both wins), allowing just three earned runs on nine hits with a single walk and 11 K's in 13.1 innings. He'll look to make it three in a row at home against the Brewers on Sunday.

Haren (9-9) tossed a gem Wednesday to beat the Angels, allowing a run on three hits and striking out four over 7.1 innings. Three baserunners is Haren's lowest total since a one-hit contest against the Indians June 30. Since that game, the 33-year-old had been awful, coughing up 26 runs in 23.1 innings (10.13 ERA) over five starts. Haren will try to stay on track Monday in Atlanta.

Dan Haren will start Friday's game against the Cubs. After getting lit up on July 23, Haren was told he would have his next start skipped after struggling in four July starts. As it turns out, the start is just a few days later than originally scheduled. Haren is 8-8 with a 4.49 ERA and 1.31 WHIP through 21 starts on the season.

The Dodgers have told Dan Haren that they will skip his next scheduled start. Haren has struggled to the tune of a 9.47 ERA in four July starts, so it's no surprise the team is hesitant to keep running him out there. With the skipped start, Haren won't pitch again before the July 31 non-waiver trade deadline, meaning Wednesday's start -- if the Dodgers acquire another starter at the deadline -- could be his last with the club. The earliest he could pitch again would be August 2.

Dan Haren earned his fourth consecutive loss in Wednesday's start against the Pirates, yielding five runs in five innings. July has not been kind to Haren, as he's now 0-4 on the month with a 9.47 ERA in 19 innings. The right-hander gave up four hits -- including a home run to Travis Snider -- while walking three and striking out six. Haren has not exactly been the bargain the Dodgers hoped they were getting when they signed him back in November. He carries a 4.49 ERA, 1.31 WHIP, and 92/26 K/BB ratio. He'll make his final start of the month at home against the Braves next week.

Dan Haren gave up four runs in four-plus innings Friday in a loss to the Padres. Alexi Amarista, of all people, homered off Haren in the second, and Haren gave up a single and two RBI doubles before being pulled in the fifth. Fortunately for him, the lone runner he left on base was stranded. Haren has turned in just two quality starts in his last seven tries. The Dodgers have been getting him run support, so he's 8-6 despite his rough stretch. However, he's simply not a very good pitcher right now.

Dan Haren was blown up for eight earned runs in 5 1/3 innings Saturday in a loss to the Rockies. It was a forgettable outing for Haren, who allowed multiple runs in three of his six frames. He struck out eight and didn't walk a batter, but the Rockies shelled him for 10 hits, including two homers. Haren will try to shake off this Coors Field punishment in his next start at home against the light-hitting Padres.

Dan Haren hurled seven shutout innings and allowed just one hit and one walk in a 1-0 win Monday against the Indians. Haren punched out five and came out after 103 dominant pitches. He entered this evening 2-0 in his last four starts despite posting an ugly 4.98 ERA in those outings. This time, he didn't need much offensive help. The veteran began the season by working at least six innings in 11 of 12 outings, but he failed to do so in three of his last four coming into tonight. He's now walked two or fewer in 11 straight and Los Angeles hurlers have walked two or less in 34 straight, the second longest streak of the century behind Minnesota's 36-game stretch in 2005. Haren travels to the pitcher's elephant graveyard on Blake Street on Saturday for a date with the Rockies.

Dan Haren lasted only 4 1/3 innings against the Royals on Wednesday, giving up four runs in a no-decision. Going deep into games hasn't really been his calling card in recent years, but Wednesday's start was still the shortest of the season for Haren. The right-hander gave up five hits, including two home runs, and walked two, exiting with two runners on and one out in the fifth inning. Haren owns a 3.83 ERA heading into another interleague tilt, this time with the Indians, on Monday.

Dan Haren picked up his seventh win after allowing three runs in 6 1/3 innings Saturday against the Diamondbacks. The game was tied at 3 in the fourth when Haren delivered a bases-loaded double, plating all three baserunners and giving himself all of the additional support he'd need. Haren has made four of his 14 starts this year against the Diamondbacks and gone 3-1 with a 4.26 ERA. He's 7-4 with a 3.54 ERA overall.
