Cliff Lee allowed one run on two hits over eight innings in the Phillies' 2-1 win over the Braves on Friday. Lee had it all working, striking out 10 while not walking a batter. The lone Braves run came on a solo homer from Andrelton Simmons, but they could only muster a single the rest of the night. Lee is a nice play his next time out as well, taking on the Padres on Thursday.

Cliff Lee allowed three runs -- two earned -- in five innings Saturday in a no-decision against the Cubs. Chicago tagged Lee for nine hits and drew three walks against him. The left-hander has won just two games since mid-June but still boasts a 3.09 ERA and 1.08 WHIP in 183 2/3 innings. He'll face off against the Braves next.

Cliff Lee pitched eight innings of one-run ball, striking out seven, in a victory over the Mets on Monday. Despite getting just two runs of support, Lee won for the first time since July 5. He might be having more fun right now had the Phillies traded him to a contender last month. On the plus side, he does have 11 wins this year with practically the same ERA that got him six victories in 30 starts last season.

Cliff Lee allowed two runs on nine hits in seven innings of a no-decision against the Rockies on Wednesday. Lee's night started a bit, well, rocky as he allowed two second-inning runs, but he rebounded to blank the Rockies for five more innings before exiting. He gave up the nine hits but didn't walk a batter, striking out six. He's still winless since July 5 despite owning a 3.16 ERA for the year, a touching homage to his disastrous 2012 season. He'll try to get back in the win column Monday against the Mets at Citi Field.

Cliff Lee yielded three runs over eight innings in a loss to the Dodgers on Friday. Lee only made a couple of mistakes, including a two-run homer by Hanley Ramirez in the fourth inning, but the margin for error was pretty thin with Zack Greinke rolling. It was his longest start since June 24, so perhaps the neck is feeling better. Still, he has lost four consecutive decisions and owns a 5.17 ERA over six starts since the start of July. He'll attempt to get back on track against the Rockies next week at home.

Cliff Lee gave up three earned runs in six innings Saturday as the Phillies fell to the Nationals. Lee escaped with a no-decision because the Nats didn't break through until the seventh inning. The veteran left-hander has now been roughed up in back-to-back starts since skipping a turn in the Phillies' rotation with a stiff neck and his struggles actually date back much farther than that. Lee may have trouble getting on track next week against the red-hot Dodgers.

Cliff Lee allowed four runs (three earned) on eight hits over five innings in Sunday night's loss to the Braves. He gave up two walks and had eight strikeouts. Lee was scratched from his last two starts due to neck stiffness, but didn't show any lingering effects in the outing. He'll look to get back on track Saturday vs. the Nationals.

Cliff Lee (neck) will make his next start Sunday against the Braves. Lee hasn't pitched since July 21 due to a stiff neck, but he has felt much better in recent days. The veteran southpaw owns a 3.05 ERA over 20 starts this season.

Cliff Lee (neck) took batting practice on Wednesday and is expected to make a start this weekend. Lee was scratched from his previous turn in the Phillies' rotation due to a stiff neck, but it was never a big concern. He obviously survived Wednesday's trade deadline.

Jim Bowden of ESPN.com and MLB Network Radio on Sirius XM hears that Cliff Lee will not be traded on Wednesday. The Red Sox made the most sense as a potential destination, but Tuesday's acquisition of Jake Peavy essentially takes them out of the running. Considering the asking price and the salary remaining on Lee's contract, it's hard to see someone else jumping in.
