C.J. Wilson was tagged for six runs in 4 1/3 innings by the Astros on Friday. Wilson struck out six and walked one, but he gave up three homers, bringing his season total to 14 allowed in 112 2/3 innings. Last year, he gave up just 15 in 212 1/3 innings. In 2012, it was 19 in 202 1/3 innings. Hopefully, his struggles with the home run ball are just a fluke. Still, this makes three bad starts in a row for him, meaning it's time to get concerned. We would keep him active for his upcoming home start against the Jays, but we'll be a little nervous about it.

C.J. Wilson beat the Twins on Tuesday despite allowing six runs over five innings. Wilson was staked to a 5-0 lead before so much as one Angel had been retired, but he'd coughed up all of it by the time there were two outs in the second inning. The Angels got two runs in the bottom half of that frame on a Mike Trout homer, and they never looked back. Wilson "improves" to 8-6 with a 3.70 ERA and 1.19 WHIP. The southpaw squares off against another AL Central foe when he travels to Kansas City over the weekend.

C.J. Wilson tossed seven innings of one-run ball Thursday in a no-decision against the Indians. Wilson walked four but yielded only three hits in the solid outing. The Angels lost in the bottom of the 10th inning when Nick Swisher slugged a walkoff grand slam. Wilson will carry a 3.34 ERA and 1.16 WHIP into his next scheduled start at home against the Twins.

C.J. Wilson racked up eight strikeouts over six innings on Friday, but was handed his sixth loss of the season after allowing four runs to the Braves. Wilson allowed six hits and a pair of walks on the night. All of the damage against him came in the first inning, where Evan Gattis connected on a three-run homer and Chris Johnson followed with a solo shot. He settled in nicely afterwards though, hurling five shutout innings to keep his team in the ballgame. He'll bring a 3.50 ERA, 1.18 WHIP and 87/36 K/BB ratio into Wednesday's start against the Indians in Cleveland.

C.J. Wilson held the White Sox to three hits and one run over 7 1/3 innings in Sunday's win. The start was in stark contrast to Wilson's last outing in which he allowed five runs in 2 2/3 innings. On Sunday, Wilson didn't give up an extra-base hit, walking two while striking out six in the win. The southpaw is now 7-5 with a 3.32 ERA and 1.17 WHIP through 13 starts. He'll square off against the Braves in an interleague matchup Saturday.

C.J. Wilson was chased after just 2 2/3 innings on Tuesday, giving up five runs while walking five in a loss to the Astros. It was just a bad turn for the left-hander, who also served up six hits in the shortened outing. He struck out four before being removed. The loss drops him to 6-5 with a 3.52 ERA and 1.21 WHIP, and he'll look for a return to form Sunday against the White Sox.

C.J. Wilson couldn't keep up in a pitcher's duel with Felix Hernandez on Wednesday, giving up three runs over 7 2/3 innings in a 3-1 loss to the Mariners. Wilson struck out five and walked two. Both he and his team entered this evening red hot, Wilson having yielded just one run and nine hits over 15 1/3 frames in two straight wins. He'd gone 5-1 with a 2.03 ERA over his last six starts at Safeco Field, but there wasn't much he could do against King Felix with his good stuff tonight. The veteran left-hander has a nice fantasy matchup in Houston next week.

C.J. Wilson limited the Royals to one run in 6 1/3 innings Friday in his sixth win of the year. Wilson wasn't at his best, but he didn't need to be against a Royals lineup missing Salvador Perez. He ended up walking four batters and hitting two others, but he lowered his ERA to 3.00 anyway. He's 4-0 with a 2.73 ERA lifetime in six starts and 10 relief appearances against the Royals.

C.J. Wilson went the distance for his second career shutout in the Angels' 6-0 win over the Rays on Saturday. Wilson's previous shutout came in 2011. He hadn't even had a complete game in three years with the Angels, but manager Mike Scioscia let him go for one tonight, even though he was at 113 pitches through eight. Fortunately, a couple of well-hit balls in the ninth found gloves, allowing Wilson to finish his gem at 126 pitches. He's 5-3 with a 3.16 ERA, and his WHIP is down to 1.12.

C.J. Wilson gave a valiant effort Tuesday, surrendering three runs over eight innings in a no-decision loss to the Yankees. The veteran wiggled out of a dangerous situation in the eighth inning, inducing a Brian McCann inning-ending double play with two on and one out on his 125th pitch. Wilson has gone over 110 pitches in all seven of his starts, painting a 4-2 record, 3.21 ERA and 1.13 WHIP. The southpaw heads north of the border for a showdown against the Blue Jays next week.
