C.J. Wilson improved to 4-2 after holding the Indians to one run over eight innings in Wednesday's start as the Angels won 7-1. Wilson was brilliant, allowing only the one run on two hits and a walk while striking out eight. Wilson now sports a 3.18 ERA with a 41/13 K/BB ratio. Since he was shelled by the Mariners on April 1, Wilson has turned in five consecutive solid outings for the Angels. If Wilson wants to make it six in a row, he'll have to do it against the Yankees in his next start.

C.J. Wilson spun six innings of one-run ball in a 13-1 win over the Yankees on Friday. His mastery of the Yankees continues. The southpaw held the Bombers to just four hits (three of them singles) and three walks while whiffing five batters. Wilson was hit hard in his season debut, but he has been pretty solid since and continues to rack up the strikeouts. He has 33 of them in 31 2/3 innings so far this season. He'll face the Indians next week at home.

C.J. Wilson struggled in a losing effort against the Tigers on Saturday, allowing four runs (three earned) on seven hits in his five innings of work. The veteran southpaw walked three and struck out four on the afternoon. The big blow in the game that proved to be the difference was a two-run homer off the bat of Nick Castellanos in the second inning that got the Tigers on the board. He'll carry a 4.21 ERA, 1.32 WHIP and 28/9 K/BB ratio into Friday's start against the Yankees in New York.

C.J. Wilson struck out nine batters while allowing two runs over seven innings in a win over the Mets on Sunday. Wilson didn't need to be too perfect with his offense providing 11 runs of support, but he still delivered a quality start in the win. In all, Wilson allowed six hits and three walks over his seven innings. After a subpar debut, Wilson has turned in two fine starts his last two times out. He'll have a tougher assignment next weekend when the Angels visit the Tigers.

C.J. Wilson spun eight innings of one-run ball in Monday's 9-1 victory over the Astros. He allowed just four hits and a walk while striking out seven, throwing 120 pitches in the start. It was a nice rebound outing for Wilson, who was touched up for six runs over 5 2/3 frames against the Mariners last week. With a matchup against the Mets at home this weekend, it's shaping up to be a great two-start week for the veteran left-hander.

C.J. Wilson was lit up by the Mariners for six runs on eight hits over 5 2/3 innings in an 8-3 loss on Tuesday. Wilson did manage to strike out eight while walking two, which is how he accumulated 114 pitches while securing only 17 outs. He also coughed up a Brad Miller solo round-tripper. It was a rather dissatisfying outing after the left-hander pitched so well this spring (1.88 Cactus League ERA with a 35/10 K/BB ratio over 28 2/3 innings). Wilson will try to pick up the pieces this weekend as he opposes Bartolo Colon and the Mets on Sunday afternoon.

C.J. Wilson punched out nine Royals over 5 2/3 innings of work on Friday, en route to a victory in Cactus League play. The veteran southpaw surrendered three runs (one earned) on seven hits while walking a pair on the afternoon. While he'll never be a positive contributor in WHIP, his strikeout potential provides plenty of value in the middle rounds of mixed league drafts.

The veteran southpaw racked up seven strikeouts on the afternoon while walking three. C.J. Wilson blanked the Mariners in five innings of work during Tuesday's start. Only half of the Mariners' lineup included regulars, so that takes some of the shine off of the outing. Still, Wilson surrendered just four hits and didn't issue a walk while striking out four. The lefty has yet to post an ERA in the 4.00's since becoming a full-time starter back in 2010 and is a solid bet to continue that streak in 2014.
