Parmelee exited Thursday's game against the Angels with a right hamstring injury.
EDGE Analysis
Parmelee left the field in what looked to be extreme discomfort Thursday, which marks yet another injury at first base for the Yankees. With Mark Teixeira on the DL with a knee issue and the reserve combo of Dustin Ackley and Greg Bird out for the season, an extended absence for Parmelee would leave the Yankees even thinner at first base. A further update on Parmelee's status figures to be made available later Thursday.

Parmelee is in the lineup for Thursday's game at first base.
EDGE Analysis
Parmelee was sensational in Wednesday's contest, going 3-for-5 with two home runs and three RBI in his Yankees debut. He will be batting ninth against Jhoulys Chacin and the Angels on Thursday.

Parmelee went 3-for-5 with two homers, three RBI and three runs Wednesday against the Angels.
EDGE Analysis
Parmelee was called up from the minors Saturday when first baseman Mark Teixeira went on the disabled list. The pressure of playing in front of the Yankee faithful in his first start of the season didn't faze the 28-year old. Before his homers, he knocked a fourth-inning double for his first Yankees hit, later scoring on Brett Gardner's RBI single. Parmelee's performance was a night to remember for him, but it's unlikely he'll turn into a valuable fantasy asset this year.

Parmelee was called up by the Yankees on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
After Mark Teixeira was placed on the 15-day DL for a right knee articular cartilage tear, Parmelee was added to the roster. With Dustin Ackley and Greg Bird also out with injuries, Parmelee could see some time starting at first base. The Yankees could also use Brian McCann or Austin Romine when they aren't catching, or let Rob Refsnyder get a chance at the position.

Parmelee (arm) was reassigned to minor league camp Saturday, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Parmelee had a shortened stint at the Yankees' major league camp after undergoing surgery to repair a broken arm in September. Still, he managed to get 29-at bats there this spring, although he had mixed results. Parmelee had three doubles and only struck out five times, but he otherwise struggled at the plate with a .172 batting average and .226 OBP. He'll head down to minor league camp to get more regular playing time.

Parmelee (arm) signed a minor league contract with the Yankees on Monday that includes an invitation to spring training, Jack Curry of YES Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
Parmelee played most of 2015 with the Triple-A affiliate of the Orioles, but he did get a short stint with the major league club in the summer. He hit minor league pitching to the tune of a .314/.386/.444 slash line, but that didn't translate to the majors as his .216 batting average shows. Yankees general manager Brian Cashman said that he's likely to play first base at the Triple-A level, which fills the void that Greg Bird left after undergoing shoulder surgery earlier in the month.

Parmelee (arm) will undergo surgery, Roch Kubatko of MASN reports.
EDGE Analysis
Parmelee was hit by a pitch during a Triple-A game last month, and after several weeks of monitoring the injury, the team's medical staff has determined surgery is the best option. Parmelee will miss the rest of the 2015 season but figures to be recovered in time for the start of the 2016 campaign.

Parmelee is out of the lineup Sunday against the White Sox, MLB.com's Brittany Ghiroli reports. Parmelee will sit out with the White Sox bringing a lefty on the hill in Carlos Rodon. With a 0-for-10 showing at the dish over his last four games, Parmelee's time as the Orioles' preferred option at first base could be soon nearing an end.

Parmelee is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Rangers, MASN's Roch Kubatko reports. Parmelee started each of the last seven games, including both contests of Sunday's doubleheader with the Indians. He's presumably just getting some rest, and he'll likely be back in the lineup Tuesday. Parmelee may eventually see his role decrease when he cools off, but he's been an everyday player since his June 16 call-up.
